Our exclusive Tented Camps are one of the best ways to experience wildlife. You will stay in semi-permanent luxury tents where you will be served three hot meals each day by our local chefs. And there is a beautiful bush bar for all of your bush drinks. Your group will also have private safari Jeeps which will allow you the flexibility to travel at your own pace and make stops as you wish to enjoy everything within the parks.

 Arrival day at Kilimanjaro International Airport.  Upon arrival, you will be greeted by one of our English speaking drivers who will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. This is approximately a 30 minute drive. Arusha is a popular tourist city with great vibes and known for its diverse local and international dining options. 

This is a great day to meet your guides and other travelers in your group.

On day two you will be transported from your Arusha Hotel to the incredible Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for herds of elephants, pythons, birds, and Baobab Trees. Today you will embark on your first game drive with your private safari guide. Your evening will be spent in a luxury semi-permanent tent camp where you will enjoy a hot dinner, shower, relaxing pool, and a cozy bed. 

The next morning, you will be amazed as you watch the sunrise and the African bush come to life. The early morning hours are prime time for wildlife. We will do one game drive in the morning on our way out of the park to Karatu.

Meal: All inclusive

After breakfast on day 3, you will experience your final game drive in Tarangire as we head to our next destination: Karatu. You will arrive in Karatu mid afternoon, have dinner at the lodge and spend the evening resting in preparation for the beautiful days ahead.

After breakfast, you will drive for 45 minutes to the Hadzabe people of Tanzania, who represent one of the last remaining true hunter-gatherer tribes in the world. Living a nomadic lifestyle, they depend on their profound knowledge of the land and its resources for survival. Their diet primarily consists of what they can hunt and gather, including meat, honey, and a variety of plants such as berries, tubers, and baobab fruit.

**Key Aspects of the Hadzabe Way of Life:**

- **Hunter-Gatherers:** The Hadzabe do not engage in agriculture or livestock rearing. Instead, they skillfully hunt animals using traditional bows and arrows and gather wild plants for sustenance.

- **Nomadic Lifestyle:** The Hadzabe frequently relocate their camps to follow game and locate edible plants, demonstrating their adaptability to the changing environment.

- **Simple Shelters:** They construct basic shelters from branches and leaves, providing essential protection from the elements while remaining in harmony with their surroundings.

- **Unique Language:** The Hadzabe speak a distinctive language that is not related to any other language family, highlighting their unique cultural identity.

Today, we will embark on an exhilarating descent into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater in your private safari vehicle. This remarkable caldera, nearly three million years old, was formed by a colossal volcanic eruption that led to its dramatic collapse. Spanning twelve miles in diameter and plunging approximately 2,000 feet deep, the journey from the rim to the crater floor takes about 30 minutes by vehicle.

The crater floor teems with an extraordinary array of wildlife, all thriving in the nutrient-rich soil and lush grazing areas. Approximately 25,000 animals inhabit this unique ecosystem, including flamingos, hippos, crocodiles, big cats, and the renowned "Big Five"—lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and the elusive black rhino. Additionally, you will encounter giraffes, impalas, gazelles, ostriches, wildebeests, and numerous other species, making this one of the most captivating safari landscapes on the planet.

In the late afternoon, we will return to Karatu, where you will stay at the same hotel as the previous night, allowing you to reflect on the day's unforgettable experiences.

Day 6: After breakfast, we will journey into the Serengeti. One of the most famous safari locations in the world, Serengeti National Park evokes for many the images of what it truly means to travel to Africa. Discover its vast open plains, lonely acacia trees, and rocky kopjes as you make your way into this vast wilderness. This is also a great season for wildebeest that make up the Great Migration.

We will spend the day gazing out the open-roofed safari vehicle in search of wildlife. until it is time to head to our lodge for dinner, showers, and bed. 

Day 7: On this day we will enjoy more game drives and lodge activities. Your expert safari guide will help you discover the wonders of the Serengeti and connect with nature like never before.  The afternoon will be spent relaxing and enjoying the amenities of our lodge. We will have the opportunity for a two hour evening game drive as the sun makes its decent below the horizon and the wildlife becomes more active.

Today, you will depart from the Serengeti shortly after breakfast. The drive back to Arusha where you started takes approximately 4 to 5 hours. However, please keep in mind that there is a flight option available that takes just 30 minutes, with prices ranging from $150 to $250 per person.

Upon your arrival in Arusha, you will return to the same hotel, where you can enjoy a refreshing shower, a drink, dinner, and a comfortable overnight stay.

For a late checkout, please inform us, and we will notify the hotel. If availability permits, a small fee will be applied for the late checkout, ranging from $30 to $50 per room.
