About your trip

This is a one day  Full day  trip  divided in  three very  different  stages.


Stage One: 

The Estuary  motorized canoe ride

We ride  90 minutes+  down an estuary  learning all about this fascinating eco-system The mangroves its interaction with global  weather,  their symbiosis with  the red  crab. And the astonishing  abundance of  birds in the area.

Stage  Two:

The Howler  Monkeys  trail.

A walk  througha dry  tropical  forest  where we learn  about this very  interesting eco-system  the abundance and variety of trees is really  somethign to  be enjoyed Then  as we  walk  we´ll  come across a group  of howler  monkeys asthey  move around within the area.


Stage  three:

The cacao Farm

A visit  t o a real cacao  farm  (an actual working cacao farm) where  to  begin with  we´ll have lunch  a traditional  ecuadorian  lunch with a delicious local appetizer the n Chicken  prepared in a very  traditional  manner  and they  will  always  surprise us  with  dessert  and a freshly brewed  coffee.


Then  of course the all  important : CACAO  EXPERIENCE we´ll walk  around the farm all about cacao  (chocolate raw material) sample the fresh  friut, then  learning  by  actually  doing, all  the process from  cacao  all  the way  to  chocolate bars. 

This trip can be booked within 24 hrs

Although it will  be better  prepared with earlier  notice, 

But we can  certainly  work things out

We nned to  know in advance if there are any dietary  restrictions, allegies or plain and simple special diets  that  we should satisfy.

Naturalist guide

This is a protected area so we need to access the place in the company of a Licensed naturalist guide ( which I am)
