After your arrival in Milan, there will be a group transfer to Hotel Bazzoni on the lovely shores of Lake Como.  Enjoy some time to relax and take in the scenery before you meet your fellow travelers for a Welcome Dinner with wine.

After breakfast we will head to the town of Como and have a guided tour, followed by free time for shopping and lunch.  Next we will take a Cruise on Lake Como passing gorgeous villas on our way to Bellagio.  Savor  a small walking tour along the lakeside and narrow alleyways, lined with craft shops and boutiques and cafes.  Return back to hotel by boat.  Included Dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast we will travel to Bergamo, with the backdrop of the Bergamese Alps.  We will visit Old Town, perched on a hill above the modern city., filled by a guided walking tour though town to view the Palazzo del Commune, Cathedral St. Maria Maggiore, Palazzo Della Region e and Colleoni Chapel with its frescoed dome..  Return to Lake Como for an Included Dinner at the hotel.

We have an amazing day in store for you today.  After breakfast we will drive to Stresa, a charming town on the shores of Lake Maggiore.  From there we will board a boat to Isola Bella, (the beautifulI island) for a tour of the sumptuous 17th century Borromeo Palace and its magnificent Italian-style gardens.  Next we will cruise to Isloa Pescatori (fisherman’s island), where you will have free time for lunch and exploring.  Stop by a local wine shop for a little sample.  Return to the hotel for an included dinner.

After breakfast, we will board the UNESCO Bernini Express Red Train to the Swiss resort of St. Moritz.  Savor some local Swiss cuisine during your free time, fooled by a guided city tour.  Return to the hotel for an included dinner

After breakfast we will travel to Milan, the fashion capital of Italy.  We will visit the 14th century Gothic Duom, go to the rooftop by elevator, then walk to Costello Sforzeco.  After some free time for lunch on your own, enjoy shopping on the famous Monte Napoleone.  Return to the hotel for an included dinner. 

After breakfast we have an adventurous drive to Lake Lugano.  We will cross the boarder into Lugano, nestled in a bay surrounded by the nearby Swiss Alps.  We will  have a guided walking tour followed by free time for a bit of lunch and shopping.  Return to the hotel for a fabulous Farewell Dinner with wine.

All too soon , your vacation has ended.  After breakfast we will have a group transfer to the airport.  I hope you had an amazing time in Lake Como.  You will have time to do some last minute shopping at duty free before flying back to the US.
