Itinerary Overview (click Itinerary for daily program details):
Epic Himalaya MTB Enduro Adventure is structured in two stages with two regions to showcase the diversity of landscapes, trails and culture of Nepal.
First half of the trip is based around Pokhara. The adventure tourism capital of Nepal presents as a bustling green oasis of dramatic river gorges and lakes surrounded by towering peaks. With a thriving MTB culture, 1000m+ vertical descents, swimming lakes and temperatures in the high 20s, Pokhara in late March provides a perfect environment for 3 days of acclimatising enduro riding before progressing to the high, dry and rugged terrain of the Mustang
Second half of the trip involves a light aircraft flight into the Mustang region. First revealed to the global MTB community in recent Anthill and Teton Gravity films, the region holds endless rugged steppes, herding & sherpa trails and a rich spiritual history of Hindu and Buddhist culture and monasteries. The stage 2 itinerary involves daily point to point gravity riding between some of Nepal’s most sacred sites including the Muktinath and Jwala Mai Temples with the option of the ultimate challenge to ride to, and descent from the fearsome 5,461m of Thorong La on the Annapurna circuit.
Epic Himalaya MTB Enduro Adventure is all inclusive in Nepal with accommodation, transfers, 3 meals per day, guiding, shuttles, first aid, technical support.
BikeFlowAdventures (Matt) will also offer personalised on-trip advanced skills coaching, pre-trip program of coaching, conditioning & social rides and a post-trip celebratory event. Indeed anything that will make your adventure more enjoyable I will do my best to accommodate.
