Day 1

Day 1 image

Welcome to Barcelona

This is the capital of the passionately independent people of Catalan. A port city that’s long been a home to artists and explorers. Barcelona is a fun city and we encourage you to come a few days early and enjoy it... and to let your luggage catch up with you. Tonight is time to eat Barcelona style. It’s time to meet your fellow riders, learn about the Spain to come and have a few dishes and drinks you’ve never tasted before.

Day 2

Day 2 image

Barcelona to Viella

Eat light at breakfast today we've got a treat coming. Various vans and transports will get our luggage and ourselves just outside of town to our tour launch site. Most of your paperwork is already done so after a short ride to the garage we will mount up and head to our "coffee stop" for some special local flavors. We'll hit a few mountain passes so you can burn off those calories before we descend into a proper mountain town for a late lunch from the grill. From there we head north through mountains to the resort town of Viella. We will be staying in this lovely town for two nights.

Day 3

Day 3 image

Viella to Andora to Viella

This isn't a duty free shopping trip. This is a full day over multiple mountain passes through three different countries. This is Catalan route unknown to most visitors along the pass Col de Mente. We'll enter Andorra via Envalira Pass and head to a themed tavern with a large round table, who can guess the theme? In the afternoon we will rail the Cantó and Bonaigua passes  on the French side. We return back to Viella from the North.

Day 4

Day 4 image

Viella to Biescas

Mountain air is good for the appetite and your post breakfast views don’t get much better than this. Today you’ll ride five mountain passes on pavement prepared for the the Tour de France. The views and curves reach a pinnacle here. The bikes and pavement may be new but life here hasn’t changed much for centuries. Herding of sheep, ponies and cattle remains much the same. The harvesting of hay to maintain the herds in winter. The less traveled Pyrenees retain more of their traditional look than the more centrally located Alps. We finish the day in the  resort town of Biescas

Day 5

Day 5 image

Biescas to Aragón

Riding down out of the mountains, we’ll hit some amazing canyon riding and begin descending into the wide open vistas of the province of Aragón. Today we've got a few tight sections but mostly big views, lots of sweepers, a bit of highway work and Aragon style BBQ. Tonight we head for a small boutique hotel converted from a large farm house. It is close to the track and frequented by MotoGP heroes once every year. Dinner tonight is included as we are far from any restaurants. We stay here for two nights.

Day 6

Track Day 1 on Aragón

Motorland Aragón is set in the middle of the country and it’s a massive facility. The track itself is 3.3 miles (5.3km) long with moderate elevation changes and very few blind turns. The pavement is good, the run offs are ample and the straights are VERY fast. The lap record is currently held by Pecco Bagnia  1:46.07 set in 2022. Our track bike supplier will have new BMW S1000RR waiting with Metzler K3 tires or you can upgrade to slicks and warmers. Your coach will work with you on lines and technique while providing on bike video feedback. There is also tech briefings to review track technique. Take your time and the learn the lines of this incredible track before attempting to go faster…which you will.

Day 7

Day 7 image

Track day 2 on Aragón

Your sore muscles from the day before might hurt but your mind is sharper. At breakfast you already thinking about where you’d like to brake harder, roll on full gas earlier, apex later. You’ll start to learn where more rubber gets laid down late in the day and you'll feel it. Your lines will get sharper. Your lap times will drop. The famous wall of Aragón flies past your left and you know the track photographer got a few good shots of you.

Day 8

Day 8 image

Track day 3 on Aragón

Put it all together now and watch those lap times drop. You’ve ridden the curves that MotoGP riders have mastered. You’ll never watch MotoGP at Aragón the same way again. Tonight you stay in the Palace in Alcañiz. We've got a fun place for dinner picked out.

Day 9

Day 9 image

Rest day in Alcañiz

Sleep in today. We'll get some interviews after people have a late breakfast. You've been gunning it hard for three days on the challenging circuit of Aragon. It's time to relax and take in this small town.
