Come visit beautiful Mackinac Island with us this summer, where we are taken back in time to the simple way of life on the island. No motorized vehicles are allowed on the island so we hear the clip-clop of horse hooves and the ease of bicycles as people slow down and take in island life for the day. Next we are whisked off to the Bavarian feel of Frankenmuth, Michigan where we enjoy the German feel thru flowers, murals and music! And of course, a little Christmas in June as we visit the world's largest Christmas store, Bronner's!

Get ready to enjoy 5 fun-filled days packed with breathtaking scenery, great attractions and all that MICHIGAN has to offer. You'll experience a touch of New England's charm as we travel the harbors and quaint villages of Wisconsin and Michigan. With many fun activities on board our deluxe motorcoach we soon arrive at the Island Resort and Casino in Escanaba, Michigan for our overnight stay. GOOD LUCK!
Following breakfast on your own and some last minute gaming we depart. By mid-morning we arrive in St. Agnace and ferry across the Straits of Mackinac to reach quaint MACKINAC ISLAND. On arrival our horse drawn carriage awaits to take us on an enjoyable tour of the island. No motorized vehicles are permitted on the island which stretches 2 miles wide and 3 miles long. Having worked up quite an appetite, lunch is included at famous GRAND HOTEL. Time will be allowed to enjoy the 600 foot porch that offers magnificent views of the hotel’s courtyard and its beautiful manicured gardens. A visit to the many island shops and boutiques is an absolute must. Having found that perfect treasure, we ferry back to the mainland for our overnight stay.
This morning we enjoy a full breakfast buffet before we check out for a relaxing drive heading south through Michigan to Frankenmuth, a Bavarian village famous for its mouth watering German cuisine, art galleries, specialty shops, bakeries, clock shops and home to the world's largest Christmas Store. We have some time to explore the village and have lunch on our own before we spend our afternoon at Bronner's, a Christmas shopping delight! Tonight we check in to the Zehnder Hotel for our evening stay.
Following an included breakfast, we meet our step-on-guide that boards our coach for a 1-hour tour of this amazing village. Here we learn the history of Frankenmuth from its riverboat excursions, horse drawn carriages and the Glockenspiel with its 35-bell carillon. Lunch is included at Zehnder's, famous for their country fried chicken. After lunch we visit the Zeilinger Wool Company before we make our drive to the western side of Michigan for our overnight stay.
This morning we make our way to Ludington where we board the SS Badger Car Ferry for the 4-hour crossing. On board, we enjoy all the amenities of the SS Badger, the famous "Badger Bingo", shopping in the boutique, movies, open deck, dining and bar location, and quiet relaxation areas. Once we dock in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, we board the bus and start our journey across Wisconsin and make our way home by early evening. Thank you for joining our traveling family.
