TWK Tours welcomes you along with friends, family, and adult children on our first "Girls" Trip since 2019! This year we explore the vibrant markets and towns of Morocco at Casablanca and Marrakesh, taking a cooking class and a camel ride, and then hop a flight to Southern Spain exploring the fabled white villages, Moorish palace architecture and famous Seville...and a taste a little wine along the way.

Join us as we explore this fascinating and exotic corner of the world steeped in culinary delights, interesting architecture, food, wines, and authentic local experiences. From Casablanca to the Alhambra, we will explore this history and culture of Morocco and Spain, visiting the Berber villages of Morocco, the casbah of Marrakesh, the hill towns of Andalusia, the vibrant city of Seville, and the fabulous Costa del Sol. Along the way, explore exotic markets, witness local traditions including snake charmers, ride a camel through the desert, sample exquisite wines and tapas, visit storybook villages, and learn to cook Moroccan style. This 9-night journey will be an unforgettable experience with fun friends as we experience adventure, new food and good wines through these two cultures that are tied together with much history and intrigue.

Fly Phoenix to Casablanca, Morocco (overnight flight)


TWK Tours and your guide will greet you at the airport for a transfer to the hotel.


For those who would like a little late night dinner and/or drinks (on your own accord), we can arrange a visit Rick's Cafe, based on the famous "gin joint" in the film "Casablanca", an icon of the city.

Casablanca to Marrakesh - Cooking Class

Day 2: Casablanca/Marrakesh

After breakfast, take a short sightseeing tour of the Moroccan capital of Casablanca including the impressive historical sights of the old city.

After the tour, your transfer will take you from Casablanca to Marrakesh where you will stay in a "riad", a converted historical palace filled with luxury and Moroccan charm.


In the afternoon, join a local chef on a culinary and cultural journey. Join the chef for a stroll through the exotic food and spice markets, learning about local foods and picking fresh ingredients. Afterwards, the chef will share their expertise on Moroccan cooking techniques and guide you in preparing some traditional dishes. At the end of the class, relish your creations in a Moroccan feast.

Day 3 Marrakesh

Marrakesh - Horse Drawn Carriage Ride/Historical Palace Visits

Day 3: Marrakech

After breakfast, enjoy a full day tour of Marrakesh including a horse-drawn carriage ride around the city ramparts and lunch. Your English-speaking guide will take you to landmarks like the Koutoubia Palace, the Majorelle Garden, the 16th century Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the Dar Si Saïd Palace, discussing the history and culture of the city.

Day 4 Marrakesh Area

Camel Ride, Market Visits, Berber Tradition

Day 4:

After breakfast, travel to the magnificent Agafay Desert where you will enjoy a camel ride over the vast dunes and take in the incredible views. Visit a traditional Berber village, learning about local Berber history and way of life, and savor a delicious lunch before returning to Marrakesh.


The afternoon/evening is free for you to explore the vibrant souks (markets) of Marrakesh or take in the evening festivities in the medina (the old walled city), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where snake charmers, acrobats and fortune tellers await. Or, follow in the footsteps of Jackie Kennedy and Ernest Hemingway and people watch from the outdoor cafes or famous rooftop restaurants.

Day 5 Morocco to Spain

Flight to Malaga Spain, Visit Ronda hill towns, wine tasting, Tapas!

Day 5:

After breakfast, transfer to the Marrakesh airport for your flight to Spain.


Fly Marrakesh to Malaga, Spain

8:55a-11:40a (1.5 hour duration)

You will be greeted at the airport for your transfer from Malaga to Seville.


En route, from the airport to Seville, visit the legendary White Villages of Andalusia. Experience the authentic charm of inland Andalusia visiting the iconic White Villages of Zahara de la Sierra, with its dramatic mountain setting and lake views, Setenil de las Bodegas, with its homes and cafes built into the rock formations on a narrow river gorge, and Ronda with its cliffside vistas and famous Puente Nuevo Bridge.


Following the tour, visit a winery for a guided tasting of several estate wines, including elegant reds and crisp whites, accompanied by light tapas.

Seville Tapas, Wine and History

Day 6:

After breakfast, take a guided tour of the vibrant capital of Adalusia, Seville. Its landmarks tell stories of a rich past with visits to the awe-inspiring Seville Cathedral and the iconic Giralda Tower, which offers stunning views over the city. The Alcazar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, captivates with its Moorish architecture and lush gardens, transporting visitors through centuries of royal history. While in the Santa Cruz district, known for its narrow cobblestone streets and whitewashed houses, the Plaza de Espana offers a glimpse into local life.


In the evening, learn about Seville's history and food culture on a tapas tour. Stroll the city with your English-speaking guide learning about the history and local hangouts all the while sampling tapas and wine.

Day 7 Caminito Walk

Day 7: 

Today, we will embark on a full-day excursion from Seville to Caminito del Rey, one of Spain's most spectacular walking routes. After arriving in the famous Desfiladero de los Gaitanes Gorge, you will start your guided adventure down a 4.7 mile path, engineered into cliff faces, including a walkway suspended 300-feet above the Guadalhorce River, and offering breathtaking views. Traverse narrow trails, hanging bridges and cliffside walkways while learning about the route's history and geology. 


After the walk, refresh with drinks and lunch (on your own accord) at the end of the journey before heading to a family-run winery. Surrounded by rolling hills and sun-drenched vineyards, this boutique bodega offers a warm and personal introduction into the region's winemaking tradition. Guests will sample signature wines, each reflecting the character of the local territory, accompanied by tapas.

Day 8 The Alhambra

Spain Granada and The Alhambra

Day 8:

After breakfast, transfer to Nerja via Granada. Enroute, visit Alhambra, a stunning historical masterpiece perched on a hilltop above Granada. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, once the royal palace of the Nasrid sultans, stands as a symbol of grandeur reflected in its Moorish art and architecture. Be transported back to the splendor of medieval Al-Andalus, as you explore the ornate courtyards and chambers where Moorish rulers once held court and stroll the lush gardens on a guided tour.


Overnight: Nerja (Southern Coast of Spain)

Free day! Hit the beach, do some shopping, explore the Southern coast's charming villages, and enjoy some time to relax before your flight home!
