The Exhale Retreat includes healthy vegan meals prepared onsite by our chef. There will be facilitators and coordinators, including Alison, your host, to ensure that your stay is one of peace, relaxation, and self-care.

The venue for Exhale was carefully chosen. Amansala (Sanskrit: “peace waters”), located in Tulum on the Caribbean coastline of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, has four beautiful room options: Private Beachfront, Private Garden View, Shared Beachfront and Shared Garden View. Do I need a passport to attend this retreat? 

You do need a passport to enter Mexico.  If you don't already have one, routine processing is 8 to 11 weeks and expedited processing (for an additional $60) is 5 to 7 weeks. This cost is not included in the ticket price.

Can I have a consultation call before submitting payment to make sure this is the right fit for me?

Which airport should I arrive in?

You can fly to either Cancun (CUN) or Tulum (TQO). We will pick you up from EITHER airport. Please note: if you fly to Cancun, your ground transportation will be approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from the airport to the villa. 

What’s the itinerary like/what will the activities be like? 

Exhale is designed to provide peace, tranquility, and deep rejuvenation. Each day will include a blend of activities meant to nourish your body, mind, and spirit, allowing you to unwind fully and recharge.

• Daily Yoga Sessions: Begin each day with gentle yoga, focusing on breath work and mindful movement to set a peaceful tone.

• Cacao and Sound Healing Ceremony: Take a journey into the heart with a guided cacao ceremony. This experience includes meditation, chanting, and beautiful music, accompanied by the blissful properties of cacao. • Mayan Temazcal Ceremony: Participate in this ancient steam bath ritual, known for its curative and therapeutic benefits. The ceremony is designed to balance and detoxify your body, mind, and spirit, helping you release anything that’s been holding you back.

This retreat is for entrepreneurial women who are doing it all. You’re wearing all the hats, always on, always busy, always working. If your immune system has had enough and the only time you take a break is when you’re sick—and even then, you’re still on—this retreat is for you.

Can I get a private room? 

Certainly! We offer both private and shared room options, with choices between beachfront and garden views. If you'd like to save some money, you also have the option to book a private room with a friend and share a bed.

If the room option you desire is not available or if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Will there be Air Conditioning?

Yes. Complimentary air conditioning is provided from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM. For all-day air conditioning, an additional fee of $25 USD per day applies and is payable directly to the villa.

Is Tulum, Mexico Safe?

Absolutely! We prioritize the safety and well-being of our participants, and we have taken extra measures to ensure a secure and worry-free experience. We have partnered with a private resort known for its excellent track record of guest safety and rigorous security protocols. Tulum itself is a popular and vibrant destination frequented by travelers from around the world, offering a tranquil and serene environment. Our team is dedicated to making your experience as comfortable and safe as possible, providing support and guidance throughout the retreat. We are confident that you'll find Tulum to be a truly relaxing and peaceful place, ready to embrace this much needed opportunity to BREATHE.

What will the food be like?

Amazing. All meals will be fresh and prepared on site from locally sourced vegan ingredients. Food will be filling, healthy, and absolutely delicious. We also plan to have one night out on the town in Tulum where guests can choose their meal and activities.

Will there be WIFI access?

Yes. Amansala has an open network. 

Will I need cash? Do I need pesos?

Most establishments accept dollars and credit cards (VISA and Mastercard are most widely accepted) so it’s not necessary to carry a lot pesos, but you will need cash for tipping drivers, some shopping, dining out, and possibly taxi services.

Is the venue private, or will there be outside guests as well?

Amansala a large resort, so there will likely be other retreats being hosted there when Exhale takes place. 

How do I know it will be worth it?
