★ Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park: the resting place for Ghana’s first President
★ The Art Center for souvenirs, jewelry, handmade crafts, drums and a drumming lesson
★ W.E.B. DuBois Memorial for Pan African Culture
★ Independence Square, the most famous symbol of Ghana
★ Makola Market, where you will see the people of Ghana's way of life. You will have the opportunity to purchase African fabrics and custom-made clothes. Tailors will come to our hotel and take our measurements on this day
★ We will visit the village and be welcomed by the KING for a traditional naming ceremony. Each of us will be given our own traditional name.
We will visit Cape Coast and Elmina Slave Castle for a guided tour of the living quarters of the enslaved and their captors.
We will participate in “The Door of No Return” ceremony
We will visit Assin Manso Slave River Park, the place where the enslaved had their last bath.
Also we will Enjoy and participate in a cultural performance of “drumming and dancing”.
