Retreat to the peaceful Texas Hill Country with an all-inclusive wellness getaway at Miraval Austin. This adults-only sanctuary overlooks Lake Travis and offers thoughtful wellness programming amid rolling hills, quiet trails, and beautiful natural vistas.

Begin each day with sunrise yoga or mindful movement, followed by optional guided hikes through the Balcones Canyonlands or meditation sessions in serene studio spaces. Strengthen your well-being through workshops on sleep, stress management, resilience, and digital mindfulness. Explore mindful cooking classes, enjoy equine programming at Cypress Creek Farm, and take part in seasonal workshops and visiting-expert sessions that bring fresh insight and inspiration.


Wellness Weekend at Miraval Austin Important Information


Though this is a group trip hosted by Walker Wellness Retreats, the Miraval Wellness Weekend is designed as a personalized and self-directed experience. You are free to choose from a wide range of activities, workshops, and spa services based on your interests. All meals and group gatherings are optional.

Each guest will receive a $175 resort credit per night to use toward specialty classes, workshops, or spa services. This credit is not valid for alcohol. Any additional charges will be settled with Amy Walker at checkout.

Amy will coordinate your round-trip transfers and help schedule your weekend to match your personal interests. Please note that Amy will not lead any workshops or classes during this retreat. The professional staff at Miraval Austin will offer all activities and services.

This retreat is designed to be flexible and customizable so that you can engage at your own pace in a calm, supportive environment. All classes and workshops will be shared with other guests staying at Miraval Austin, and no private offerings will be provided for our group.


Resort Credit Details


  • $175 resort credit per night for spa treatments and activities
     

  • Credit cannot be applied to alcohol.
     

  • Credit is not valid on the final day of the retreat.
     

  • Any charges beyond the resort credit can be settled with Amy at checkout.

  • Adults-Only Property
    Miraval Austin welcomes guests who are 18 years of age and older.
     

  • Non-Tipping Policy
    Miraval is a non-tipping resort—gratuities are included in your stay.
     

  • Location
    The resort is approximately 40 minutes northwest of Austin Bergstrom International Airport.

     

  • Alcohol Policy
    Alcohol is available in moderation in select lounges and dining areas until the posted closing times. Management may consider exceptions upon request.
     

  • Cell Phone Usage
    To support presence and reduce distractions, cell phone use is limited to designated areas. Please keep phones on silent and consider using Airplane Mode. You are welcome to use your phone's camera to capture your experience and share your memories from the comfort of your room.

October is one of the best times to be in Austin. Expect warm, sunny days with average highs in the 70s–80s°F, cooler mornings and evenings in the 50s–60s°F, and low humidity compared to summer. Rain is possible but usually brief. Think comfortable, breathable layers that can handle warm afternoons and cooler nights at Miraval Austin.

Amy Walker, MSW, LCSW, CCM

Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Owner, Walker Wellness Retreats


Amy Walker is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Walker Wellness Retreats, which she launched in 2016 to combine her passions for travel, mental wellness, and creating transformative experiences. With a deep commitment to helping others, Amy leads 6–10 international retreats each year, providing all-inclusive experiences that foster connection, self-discovery, and personal growth. She loves showing people the world and creating meaningful, unforgettable travel experiences.


When she’s not guiding retreats, Amy works as an online mental health therapist, specializing in helping individuals and couples overcome barriers, improve communication, and build fulfilling relationships. Her approach integrates evidence-based techniques with compassionate, solution-focused support.


An avid traveler, Amy has visited over 80 countries and counting, with a personal goal to reach 100 countries and all seven continents. She enjoys international travel, wine tasting, whale watching, and spending time outdoors. She runs Walker Wellness Retreats alongside her husband, Brian Walker, ensuring each retreat is a seamless and enriching experience.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

All Walker Wellness Retreats require a 25% non-refundable deposit of the total retreat price to secure your booking. Should you need to cancel your trip, your deposit will not be refunded regardless of the reason for cancellation.
 

For U.S. destinations, the next 25% is due 60 days before the trip, and the final remaining balance is due 30 days before departure.
 

For International Destinations, the next 25% is due 120 days before the trip, and the final remaining balance is due 90 days before departure.
 

Trips can be paid in full at any time. If booking after the final payment deadline, trip payment in full is due at time of booking. Invoices NOT paid in full within 7 days of the above-mentioned deadlines are subject to trip cancellation. No refunds will be issued for trips canceled due to lack of payment.  
 

Cancellation Policy

BEFORE the final payment deadline: If you cancel your reservation before the final payment deadline, any additional payments made beyond the non-refundable 25% deposit will be refunded. However, the 25% deposit remains non-refundable. 


AFTER the final payment deadline: If you cancel your reservation after the final payment deadline, all payments made (including the deposit and any additional amounts) are non-refundable due to financial commitments with our retreat venues, guides, and service providers. 


In the unlikely event that Walker Wellness Retreats cancels a retreat, you will be given a 100% full refund


We strongly encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance to protect your investment in case of unforeseen circumstances.  For additional details on travel insurance coverage and pricing, click the link below.

Welcome to Austin!


Upon arrival at Austin International Airport (AUS), a driver will greet you and transport you to the Miraval Austin Resort, where your wellness journey begins.


Once you check in, take time to settle in and immerse yourself in the resort's peaceful surroundings.

1:00 PM: Enjoy a light, wellness-focused lunch and explore the tranquil property at your leisure. Whether you relax by the pool, wander the landscaped grounds, or unwind, this free time lets you ease into your retreat.


Evening
In the evening, we'll gather for a welcoming orientation where you can meet other guests and share your intentions for the weekend. A schedule of your pre-scheduled services, activities, and workshops will be provided upon check-in.
