She is an advocate for social awareness and change for postpartum care in cultures where traditions in caregiving have diminished or disappeared. She is an educator, speaker, organizer, caregiver and group facilitator. Her mission with the Center for Sacred Window Studies is to empower professionals in postpartum care and families with information and tools in creating the support needed during the sacred postpartum window. She trains Conscious Postpartum Caregivers to support families using diet, routine, herbal support, healing touch and the Universal Mother Principles of conscious care. Christine resides in Western Massachusetts and teaches students around the world.

Christine earned her BA at Arizona State University. She completed her 2 year Ayurvedic Health Counselor program at the Kripalu School of Ayurveda in 2010. While in the program she completed a specialty program on Women’s Health with Dr. Rosy Mann and a Vata Management Intensive with Dr. Sunil Joshi. Christine trained with Joa Agnello-Traista, a Kripalu graduate and LMT on hands on Ayurvedic bodywork. Christine studied Ayurvedic Postpartum Care with the late Ysha Oakes, founder of the Sacred Window School for Maternal and Infant Health. She studied Birth Doula Care with Michelle L’Esperance of Warm Welcome Birth in Western Massachusetts. Christine began her private practice serving women and families from pre-conception through the 40 day postpartum window in 2010 and has continued working with clients between having her own four children. In 2015 after her mentor, Ysha’s passing, Christine joined with several other Sacred Window School faculty and alumni to support students in completing their postpartum care studies. In 2018, Christine along with 3 other founding instructors, began the Center for Sacred Window Studies, which certifies students as Conscious Postpartum Caregivers through the Principles of Ayurveda.
