Island yoga retreat center
All our classes and meals will be in the beautiful Island Yoga retreat center on Koh Yao Noi. We'll have healthy, delicious Thai food buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Koh Yao Noi remains an undiscovered jewel of Thailand. Halfway between Phuket and Krabi, the island has easy access and yet free from mainstream tourism. Take a scooter ride through the rainforest and into the local village which offers local crafts and cuisine. Pristine beaches, showcase crystal blue waters and spectacular views. Capture the spellbinding sunrises. If you want to get in touch with yourself, this is the perfect island. It is a deeply restorative and magical place. It helps you let go of the crazy mind chatter... being in the calm of this space is a form of yoga in itself!

About your teachers
The retreat will be led by Anne Hermans one of Yoga Veda's Teacher trainers. During the retreat in Thailand, she will be teaching morning meditation, pranayama and traditional hatha yoga (Sivananda style). For the non-Ayurveda students, she will give Ayurveda workshops in the morning, and she will lead a few sharing circles and spiritual healing sessions in the afternoons. In the evening after dinner we will end our day calmly with yin yoga, nidra or meditation. We observe mauna, noble silence, every day from our evening practice until after the morning practice.
