Jaguar Preserve Day Trip Itinerary:

• 8:00 AM: Departure from Placencia village in our tour vehicle, heading north of the peninsula towards the highway.
• 9:00 AM: Arrival at the Jaguar Preserve Visitors Center. Guests are expected to check in.
• 9:15 AM: Briefing by our guide on the upcoming trails. For the standard Jaguar Preserve trip, gear up for a 15-20 minute easy hike to the river tubing starting point.
• 9:40 AM: Enjoy a thrilling 40-50 minute river tubing adventure, surrounded by the natural beauty of the preserve.
• 10:30 AM: Reach the exit point. Park rubber tubes and life jackets to continue on foot. Participants will be in wet clothes and footwear, so wearing comfortable and wet-friendly attire is advised. Light, quick-dry attire over a bathing suit is recommended.
• 10:40 AM: Embark on a 20-30 minute moderate hike to swim at Bens Bluff Waterfalls.
• Enjoy the waterfall for about an hour before heading back.
• 12:10 PM: Return to pick up equipment. Take an easy 30-minute hiking trail back to the parking lot.
• 12:40 PM: Opportunity for participants to change into dry clothes. Bring a towel and dry clothes. Lunch may be enjoyed inside or outside the park, decided by the guide based on weather and group size. Feel free to bring a snack.
• Afternoon: Depart from the park and drive to the entrance of the Plane trail. It's a short and easy trail. Afterward, continue for 6 miles outside the park.
