Upon arriving in Lapland, you'll be greeted by a winter wonderland. The air is crisp and refreshing, and the landscape is blanketed in a thick layer of glistening snow. Enjoy a welcome dinner upon arrival. After dinner, settle into your charming, cozy aurora cabin complete with panoramic views of the snowy surroundings and Northern Lights. Depending on our arrival time, cold weather gear is given to us either upon arrival or the next day.
Fuel up with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a thrilling snowmobiling adventure. Guided by experienced local guides, you'll zoom through winding trails that cut through the snow-covered forests and over frozen lakes. Feel the adrenaline rush as you navigate the winter terrain, with the white expanse stretching as far as the eye can see. Enjoy some free time at the lodge after lunch and before dinner. As night falls, embark on a journey to witness the captivating Northern Lights. Arriving at a remote Aurora Camp, you'll be greeted by a cozy campfire. Sip on warm beverages as you wait in anticipation for the ethereal dance of colors across the Arctic sky. The ever-changing patterns of the Northern Lights are a truly mesmerizing spectacle.
Today you'll meet your team of enthusiastic huskies, ready to whisk you away on an authentic sled dog experience. Mush your own team of huskies or sit back and enjoy the ride as you glide through the serene winter landscape. The bond between you and these incredible animals will create lasting memories. After Lunch you will immerse yourself in the Sámi culture as we visit a traditional reindeer farm. Learn about the indigenous people's close connection with nature and reindeer herding.
Enjoy some free time before dinner. After dinner we will head out for Aurora snowmobiling. Nighttime snowmobiling is exhilarating experience. We will head out in search of a good location, trying to spot some Aurora Borealis. If the northern lights appear, we will stop and admire the show. We will also have warm drinks to keep us warm and comfortable during the activity.
Today is your day to explore the nearby village, cozy up in the suana, simply explore the property living out your childhood dreams of an infinite snow day or partaking in a number of optional included activities (TBD).
On your final day, take a moment to reflect on the incredible experiences you've had during your Lapland winter getaway. Say farewell to the breathtaking landscapes and the warm-hearted people who shared their culture with you. As you head back home, carry the memories of snowmobiling through forests, bonding with huskies, marveling at the Northern Lights, and connecting with Lapland's indigenous traditions.
