Cape Town, Grootbos and Safari / 9 Days

Welcome to South Africa 2027

Okay, picture this… you’re sipping South African wine with the Atlantic breeze on your face, Table Mountain rising behind you, and penguins waddling across Boulders Beach. This is how it all begins. From the vibrant streets of Cape Town to the peaceful coastal beauty of Grootbos Private Nature Reserve, and ending with the wild, soul-stirring safaris of Kruger, this 9-day journey captures the very best of South Africa — adventure, luxury, and heart. We’ll wander through the Cape Winelands, watch whales from the cliffs of Walker Bay, and unwind in our private forest suites surrounded by fynbos and ocean views. Then we trade the coast for the bush — sunrise and sunset game drives, lions at golden hour, and the quiet magic of evenings by the fire at Simbavati Camp George. Every stop feels personal — each property chosen for its sense of place, authenticity, and connection to the land. I’ll be hosting this one myself in 2027, and if South Africa has been calling your name… this might just be your sign. 🦁🌿🍷

Vergenoegd Löw Wine Estate Heritage Pairing

Vergenoegd Löw The Wine Estate enjoys a unique location between the Helderberg Mountains and False Bay. The wine estate is one of the oldest working farms in South Africa, with land rights granted in 1696. The graceful Cape Dutch homestead dates back to 1773 and is celebrated as a National Monument to this day. For generations the estate has been cultivating the rich soil of the land, creating exceptional wines and nurturing passionate winemakers. Aside from delicious wines, the estate boasts an onsite restaurant, delightful garden picnics and distinctive wine tastings.

Lourensford Wine Estate Visit

Lourensford is one of the world’s most beautiful wine estates offering a visual feast across 4 000 hectares of forest, fynbos, fruit orchards and vineyards, which rise up the slopes of the Helderberg Mountains, caressed by breezes off the Atlantic Ocean. Established by Governor Willem Adriaan van der Stel in 1709, Lourensford has a proud history as a world-class fruit farm, and the wealth of glorious proteas points to the rich floral heritage. Fortunately, the winemaking tradition was revived when Dr Christo Wiese purchased the estate in 1998. Today, the scenic splendour, winery, restaurant, coffee roastery, art gallery, outdoor markets and music concerts, as well as cycling and trail-running events ensure that the estate is a popular tourist destination.
