Join Dive Ninja for a once in a lifetime experience to swim with sperm whales in the warm crystal blue Caribbean waters of Dominica! We will be hosting 2 trips: February 15-22, 2025, and February 22- March 1, 2025.
The beautiful island nation of Dominica is home to a big population of resident sperm whales and through special permits given to us by the government we will be allowed to get in the water with these incredible gigantic creatures. Swimming with sperm whales is unlike anything on earth. These highly intelligent and social creatures are remarkable and at times even seem to seek out interactions with humans. Throughout the week pro photographer & whale conservationist, Jay Clue, will be not only taking you to encounter these remarkable giants, but also teaching you about them and how important they are for our not only our oceans, but for our planet as a whole. He will also be offering his PADI Whale Defender - whale conservation course free of charge.

Snorkeling gear can be rented at the hotel dive center, but we highly recommend bringing your own.
We will have 1 group transfer on the first and last day included in the trip price. If you prefer a private transfer at a different time we can help you organize it.
10%-15% of trip price is customary but is at your discretion
Due to the nature of the this trip, only lunches will be provided onboard the boat. All other meals are not included, but we will help organize group dinners if you like =)
The hotel offers a full bar.

We will have a group transfer to take our guests from Douglas–Charles Airport (code DOM) to the beautiful oceanfront Fort Young Hotel. After check in and settling in, Jay will give an introduction presentation to get everyone ready and excited for the week ahead! Then we'll finish up the day watching the sun set in front of the hotel.
The next 6 days will be spent heading out to the ocean on our private boat first thing in the morning to look for & swim with sperm whales as well as any other amazing creatures we might find!
On the last day we'll say a big thank you to Dominica and see you soon before heading back to the airport in our group transfer.
