Julia Collins
Each day commences with invigorating yoga sessions led by Julia Collins, guiding you through soulful movements, mindful breathing, and meditation, fostering a deep connection between body, mind, and spirit.
Julia, E-RYT 500 and owner of award-winning Soul Society Yoga, in Maryland, brings two decades of movement practice, yogic study, and teaching to her classes. She has also traveled extensively and enjoys sharing her favorite places with others.
Julia has been influenced by many gifted and compassionate teachers along her yoga and spiritual path. She is certified by Joseph LePage in Integrative Yoga Therapy and Restorative Yoga, Jimmy Barkan in Hot Vinyasa, Cindy Lunsford in Hot 26 (Bikram) and Yin, and Life Changing Energy as a Certified Sound Healer. Additionally, her sound healing is greatly influenced by Austin Shook of Alignment Sound Energy.
Julia follows the Bhakti path of yoga – the yoga of loving and heartfulness — and frequently attends retreats and classes that nurture her spiritual practice.

Emily Shepherd
Emily uses photography to explore the deeper narratives of our feminine and masculine energies, embracing the diverse perspectives of all who step into a co-creative space. Her style is defined as both raw and sensuous, evoking a true connectedness with the subject she's photographing.
Throughout the retreat, Emily will guide inspired photography exercises, 1:1 mentoring and private sessions, and creative challenges to awaken your inner artist. Her own mindfulness practices will invite you to delve into a deeper exploration of your creativity and seek the raw from within.
ChoZen is located on Florida’s East Central Coast just 75 miles from Orlando International Airport, 90 miles from Palm Beach International and 180 miles from Miami International Airport.
We will plan to fly into the Orlando International Airport (code MCO) and arrange transportation from there to ChoZen. Please contact julia@soulsocietystudio.com upon booking so we can discuss your flight plans and help arrange appropriate transportation if desired. Transportation is not included in the cost of this trip, however we will work with you to arrange a group airport transfer as best we can.
$400 non-refundable deposit required to book.
For cancellations after 150 days prior to the start date of the retreat, 50% of the Contract Value is nonrefundable.
If canceled within 90 days of the start date of the retreat, full contract value is due.
FORCE MAJEURE: The fulfillment of this agreement by either party is subject to acts of God, war, government regulation, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, and curtailment of required transportation, or other emergencies making it inadvisable, illegal, or impossible to fulfill this agreement (“Force Majeure”). It is provided that this agreement may be terminated for any one or more of such reasons by written notice from one party to the other, without penalty. In the event of termination of this agreement pursuant to Force Majeure, Hosts shall refund 50% of all payments made by client. Note that travel insurance should be considered by Client.
Client hereby indemnifies and holds Julia Collins, Emily Shepherd, ChoZen Retreat, its members, officers, managers and employees, successors and assigns harmless from any claims, losses, damages liabilities, injuries, expenses and attorney’s fees and costs of any kind or nature that arise out of any act or omission of the indemnifying party in connection with the use of the Retreat or its facilities or amenities, or participation in activities at the Retreat, unless caused willfully or by the gross negligence of Chozen Retreat, Julia Collins, or Emily Shepherd. Client agrees to sign a liability waiver found on the ChoZen website at chozenretreat.com/waiver prior to arrival on site as well as liability waivers provided by Julia Collins and Emily Shepherd.
