Amorgos is stunning island paradise located in the Cyclades, renowned for its crystal-clear waters, rugged hiking trails, breathtaking scenery, ancient archaeological sites and charming white villages adorned with vibrant hues of blue and bougainvillea. The name Cyclades means “encircling islands,” and they are so named because they form a rough circle around the sacred island of Delos (Dílos), which was the legendary birthplace of Artemis and her brother Apollo. Amorgos features many remnants of ancient civilizations.
