FLIGHTS & ARRIVAL:
-Plan a roundtrip flight into Honolulu International Airport (HNL). We can help you find flights if needed by sending up to three options that we believe is the best priced and most convenient through the use of the ITA matrix and other forms of booking apps/sites! (We can also help you search for award bookings if you have travel points).
-Once you land in O'ahu, we will pick you up!

We will be hosting 2 Hawaii retreats back to back! This O’ahu trip will be island 1, and then we will continue to our next retreat to Kauai as Island 2. Attendees who decide to attend both trips will receive a discount!

CANCELLATION POLICY:
As described above, Bucket List Retreats is required to pay all suppliers well in advance of your trip date. This includes but is not limited to hotel accommodations, meals, tickets, transportation, etc. All suppliers have their own cancellation policies, which apply to your booking. Should a cancellation become necessary, please inform Bucket List Retreats immediately in writing and request a written confirmation of your cancellation. Upon receipt, Bucket List Retreats will follow industry procedures for any applicable refunds as outlined in the supplier’s terms and subject to their review. If you are entitled to a refund, please note that the supplier is responsible for this refund, not Bucket List Retreats. Suppliers may choose to provide a travel voucher or credit in lieu of refund. We are not responsible for a supplier’s failure to pay a refund or for supplier bankruptcy or insolvency.
In the case of a refund, expect a percentage of quoted price as follows:

Sounds crazy, but SOOO worth it! You'll join us on a 2 hour boat tour, led by marine biologist with the chance to experience sharks safely in the open ocean. Trust us on this one!
Beautiful Buddhist temple! This is optional because it will be on the departure day. Those with later flights can opt to join us for this mini tour after hotel check out, around 11am.

Arrival:
-When you arrive, Anna Leigh or Kristen will be there to meet you at the airport with flower leis. From there, we'll head to our hotel in beautiful Waikiki. You can take this time to relax after your journey or go explore Waikiki Beach, Iolani Palace, King Kamehameha Statue, and enjoy some shopping at Ala Moana.
Welcome Dinner:
-At 6 PM, we'll all come together for our welcome dinner with a stunning sunset view. It's a great chance to get to know each other better and kick off our Hawaiian adventure!
Culture & Exploration
Good morning!:
-We will prepare a simple breakfast spread + coffee/tea for anyone interested!
-Use this time to catch up on sleep, or join us for a beach workout to kick off your day!
Free Afternoon:
-You'll have until about 4pm to relax and explore on your own or with other attendees. We will provide a list of options for you to check out if you decide to explore! (Examples include the Pearl Harbor National Memorial and other paid/free tour options).
Evening Expereince:
-At 5pm, we will arrive to a Luau to expereince culture and food! This includes a welcome beverage, live music, hula lessons, a feat of tropical food with traditional island ingredients, and performance. The experience ends around 7pm, so you'll have the option to stay out or have an early night in.

Morning
-Enjoy a simple breakfast spread + coffee/tea for anyone who wants it.
-Get ready to tick off a bucket list item as you join our private group surf lesson from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
Free Afternoon
-The afternoon is yours to enjoy, or you can join us for a traditional Hawaiian plate lunch at L&L Hawaiian BBQ. It's not included, but it's a tasty option if you're feeling hungry!
Evening
-Join us for a scenic sunset hike at Makapu'u Lighthouse. This easy uphill and paved hike leads to a lighthouse viewpoint, and if we're lucky, we might spot migrating whales! It is possible to witness and even hear as they breach the water. It's a special experience you won't want to miss either way!

-Join our morning adventure with a visit to Kualoa Ranch. This incredible 8-hour experience includes three immersive tours: Hollywood Movie Sites, Jurassic Jungle Expedition, and Hawaii Grown Ranch. You'll even enjoy an included Lanai lunch, and it all wraps up around 3 PM.
Afternoon:
-If you're up for it, join us on an optional yet beautiful sunset hike at Koko Head.
Evening:
-The evening is all yours to explore Waikiki at your own pace!

Morning:
-Begin your day with a quick breakfast at our place. We've got a simple variety of options and coffee or tea for those who'd like it.
Snorkeling:
Pack a little bag and load up the car for a day roadtrip to the North Shore! For the adventurous souls, there's an exciting bucket list opportunity to swim with sharks in the open ocean in the morning. The tour is led by marine biologists with a perfect safety record since opening years ago. We've already participated in this tour once before and can truly say its one of the most surreal and best tours we've experienced on our travels! We encourage you to highly consider joining, however, if anyone prefers not to take part then we will drop you off at Sharks Cove nearby for a few hours where you can snorkel in a reef area. Once the tour is finished, we can make a group decision to stay at Sharks Cove for an additional hour together or move on.
{More on the shark tour expereince: They did amazing at educating everyone on do’s, dont’s, & about the sharks in general. They rev the boat engine slightly, and the sharks wander up out of curiosity! As someone who was nervous before going, we can definitely say we felt safe the entire time!

📸 Cameras: You have options! Bring your own GoPro for free, pay $65 for the GoPro footage they record, or pay $250 for DLSR high quality photos
⏰Length of Tour: 2 hours total! (45-60 minutes in the water, 15-25 minute boat ride each way). The best time to book is in the morning!
🦈 Types of Sharks: Mainly Galapagos & Sandbar, although hammerheads, tiger sharks, whale sharks, etc have been seen in the past!}
Lunch: Get ready to savor the freshest, locally sourced food at Farm to Barn (please note, this isn't included in the package, but is some of the best food!)
Afternoon:
-We'll spend the afternoon together exploring the scenic North Shore of Oahu, including a visit to the Dole Plantation, iconic surf spots like the famous Banzai Pipeline, and yummy Acai bowls from the original Sunrise Shack!
Evening:
-We'll enjoy our goodbye dinner either in the North Shore or in Waikiki, depending on how long we decide to leave the North Shore.
'-This is a good time to pack and prepare for your upcoming flights home, or to continue your adventures with us to retreat #2 in Kauai tomorrow! (Keep in mind, if you decide to join us on both trips, you'll receive a discount!)
Morning
-Rise early for a sunrise hike at Pillbox "mokes." It's a great way to start your day with a breathtaking view and final memories of this tropical paradise! We can also attempt the Stairway to Heaven hike if weather permits and if anyone is interested
This is more of a "free" day to destress and do anything you'd like to do on the Island before departing Hawaii:)
Final activities & Goodbyes!
Optional:
-If your flight schedule allows, you can join us on a visit the Byodo-In Temple in the Valley of the Temples for a serene experience.
Late Check Out:
-It's time to say farewell to O'ahu!
