Xo,
Bucket List Retreats
We are renting vans to travel across Utah in! These camper vans provide transportation to all the destinations we will travel to!
We will have a grocery store run prior to the trip where we will throughly plan out all meals. Any additional meals, coffee stops etc is NOT covered
We will be giving every attendee a National Park pass that is good for a year!
Our goals is to hike Angel's landing, so we will pay for the permits + lottery entry fees
We will be leading group workout classes daily! Sometimes this might be in addition to a hike, and/or in place of a hike
We are renting E-bikes for everyone through Zion!
Your Sand board is covered! Time to sand surf!
You must arrange for a flight INTO Vegas on September 3rd, and OUT OF Salt Lake City on September 9th!
The cost of alcohol is not included in this price
Any additional souvenirs or tips for workers that you choose to provide:)
The Canyon swing will be optional as an add on if you choose to do this!
Welcome to Las Vegas!
Please arrange for your flights to arrive prior to 12pm, and meet us at the camper van parking lot (we will provide details when the time comes)!
We will all get acquainted prior to heading into the downtown area of Las Vegas for shopping, bright lights, and a welcome dinner you're sure not to forget!
Stay out as late as you'd like, but we will be departing for ZION NATIONAL PARK early on day 2, so be prepared! We will apply for the lottery to hike Angels landing tomorrow! If we don't get it, we will hike the Narrows!
Good morning on the road!
We expect it to take us around 3 hours to get to Zion, so buckle up for some car jams!
Once we arrive to Zion, we will park within the park zone OR on BLM land, whichever is available for our dates for three big ole vans! From there, we will head on into the park to attempt Angels Landing. That evening we will experience an E-bike ride (covered in the price of your trip!) + photo ops throughout the park!
We can also find a spot outside of the park for droning etc, since drones are not allowed in National Parks!
Lets head back to the vans for some dinner followed by fireside s'mores + camp stories! We've got an earlier wake up call tomorrow, so try to get some rest!:)
Strap on those water shoes and prep for the Iconic "Narrows"!
The Narrows hike in Zion is an iconic and exhilarating adventure that takes you deep into the heart of Zion Canyon. On this hike, you'll wade through the Virgin River as it meanders through towering sandstone cliffs, sometimes narrowing to just a few meters wide. The towering walls of the canyon rise hundreds of feet above you, creating a breathtaking natural cathedral. The route is mostly in the river itself, so wearing appropriate water shoes and clothing is essential. The beauty and serenity of this slot canyon make it a must-do for any visitor to Zion, providing a unique and memorable outdoor experience.
At 2pm we will be packing up and driving to Coral Pink Sand dunes for some evening sand surfing!
Then, we will pack up once more and head to our next National Park: Bryce Canyon! This drive is ~2.5 hours, assuming 3 with gas stops and potty breaks! We should arrive to our campsite in Bryce Canyon around 8/9pm where we will rinse off in the river or with our outdoor shower, have dinner, and prep for our early sunrise hike at Bryce Canyon!
GET UP GET UP THE SUN IS UP!
We will be watching sunrise at "SUNSET POINT" which faces the same way that "sunrise point" faces, just has less tourists (trust us on this one). Sunset Point in Bryce Canyon National Park offers breathtaking views of the park's iconic hoodoos, particularly stunning at sunset when the rocks glow with vibrant colors. It's a must-visit spot for its panoramic vistas and natural beauty.
Our "workout" will be the Queens Garden Navajo Loop trail hike which takes around 2 hours to complete and is a 3 mile loop! This is the most underrated National Park in Utah (in our opinion)!
We will pack up the vans at noon, and head out to park #3: Capitol Reef National Park! This drive will take around 2.5 hours, so we will arrive in Capitol Reef around 3pm. We will gear up and hike the 2 mile roundtrip hike known as "Hickman Bridge" for our late afternoon/evening hike
It's time to campout and get ready for some more road trippin tomorrow!
It's Yoga + breakfast time! For those interested, we will lead a guided yoga flow + workout class right outside of our vans.
Off we go to Canyonlands! Our drive will take us about 3 hours, therefore we will arrive around noon, and check out + take photos at the Island in the Sky! (As seen in the photo above)
Off we go to the final National Park of the trip: Arches! Since it is only a 30 minute drive, we will have our goodbye dinner at Delicate Arch:) This is a quick 30 minute hike, so what better way to spend our last park together than at the iconic Arches National Park!
We will spend our final day in Salt Lake City! This day we will call it a "free day," however, for anyone interested, we will head off to the Bonneville Salt Flats for some exploring + Antelope Island to experience the bisons roaming freely!
We would love to have our last dinner as a group, share some stories, and say our goodbyes!
It's time to go:(
We will be camping in the surrounding SLC area in our vans, so please arrange your own transportation to the airport when you need to depart!
We hope this trip has been memorable and we truly hope to see you again!
XO,
Anna Leigh + Kristen
