However we feel about our Mothers, one thing is for certain: they raised us with their love, they shaped us with their character, they inspire us with their strength. At times, the reason behind our courage and motivation, at others the source of our exasperation - we come together to offer our mothers, our partners, our friends or ourselves the ultimate Mother’s Day gift: a long weekend away from everything to relax and explore, practice self-care through slow movement workshops.
Connecting through movement is a guided improvisation workshop open to everyone who wishes to dance, regardless of previous experience. Every move is a word, every touch is a letter. It is through movement that we form a dialogue with the outer world , assisted by observation, conscious effort and creative expression. By engaging in dancing games, participants explore what brings them together and what sets them apart. They discover the small gestures, the touch of the skin, the interaction between one movement and the rest of the body.
A love letter to our Mothers, an invitation to renew our connection in an experiential way at a home away from home.
-Hey Mom, with Mother’s Day coming up, do you feel like dancing? Remember all those times when we were dancing together? Sometimes merrily in the living room, other times with frustrated steps during our fights or tiredly with repetitive movements when you were trying to make me fall asleep.

DEPARTURE
Sunday 14.05 between 12 - 2 pm
The idea for this Mother’s Day Retreat came to us when we were contemplating the ideal gift for our Mothers. In a world that is hectic and constantly absorbs us, what better way to say ‘thank you’ than a weekend getaway to a picturesque location? Connecting through movement is a retreat designed to be shared by Mothers in search of stillness and beauty seeking a much-needed self-care break to reset and rebalance. You can choose to come alone, with a friend or even with your children. Movement sessions allow us to enjoy ourselves and approach our creative side together. Group activities, such as wine tasting, prompt us to explore the island, while still offering space for relaxation and quality time.
This retreat is for everyone from the age of 14 and over.
Accommodation
Participants will be housed in a magical villa complex at the island of Tinos offering breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and the surrounding islands.
The place, an amalgam of subtle luxury and traditional charm, is the ultimate peaceful spot to relax and unwind. Facilities include a private infinity pool, a tranquil yoga shala and private parking.
Nutrition
There is movement in the house. It's that beautiful, soft time before dinner. Newly made friends join each other around the dinner table. Laughs echoe on the traditional stone walls, reaching the kitchen. The house is infused with invigorating aromas of traditional dishes, hand-gathered herbs shining through them.
Everything in our seasonal menu is of Greek origin. In every retreat you will find dishes well-rooted in tradition, lovingly made by local cooks. In an effort to minimise our footprint we are serving only vegetarian dishes.
