Explore the Egyptian countryside on this 8 days Nile adventure trip. The trip starts from Luxor, where you will visit the famous Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, KarnaK Temples and many other sites. Afterward you will begin a journey of a lifetime hiking through the countryside and exploring farmers' life along the river.
The Nile Adventure program has a focus on rural areas which are not connected to the travel industry. By taking people through these locations, we are enhancing the economy of private local families in rural areas.
Our NGO, Sabeel Al Neel (Nile Trail) is developing work with local communities in partnership with other NGOs in Upper Egypt.
The projects are ongoing all year round. Specifying a project is dependent on travel dates. In some locations, we can visit projects, while in others we do not have the chance to visit due to logistical or local conditions. This feature of visiting local projects is subject to availability when planning the actual travel dates.
For more information on Sabeel Al Neel, please visit the Nile Trail Website.

They are among the most magnificent monuments in the world. When the temples (280 km from Aswan) were threatened by submersion in Lake Nasser, due to the construction of the High Dam, the Egyptian Government secured the support of UNESCO and launched a worldwide appeal and their removal and reconstruction was an historic event in itself.
