Escape to Patagonia and welcome the New Year with a 3-day adventure in Torres del Paine National Park. Our special Trekking program, based at Camp Pehoé in the heart of the park, combines exploration with New Year’s celebrations. Discover the park’s most stunning viewpoints and enjoy a unique experience perfect for adventurers, couples, and families who love nature. This unforgettable journey runs from December 30 to January 1, 2026.
Start of the Trip (Pick Up) Pick up at your accommodation in Puerto NatalesWe will depart along Route 9, on a trip of approximately 1.5 hours to the park.
Access and Preparation: Mandatory registration at the Portería Laguna Amarga (CONAF)Continuation to the Las Torres Reserve Welcome Center for the guide briefing and final preparation for the activity.
Ascent to Base Torres (22 km round trip / approx. 8 hours)
Mirador Base Torres (870 m.s.n.m.): Achievement unlocked. We will enjoy the box lunch with the spectacular view of the three granite giants (South, Central, and North), while the guide explains the fascinating geology of the place.
Descent and Transfer to Camping Pehoe: Descent along the same trail to the Welcome Center. Here, instead of returning to the city, we will take our vehicle for the transfer to the Base Camp at Lake Pehoé.
Check-in and Welcome Dinner: Accommodation at the Campamento Pehoé (your home for 2 nights).
We have breakfast at the camp and depart by vehicle from our base in the Pehoé area. We will head east to start the day, visiting 3 viewpoints.
Mirador Aonikenk – We will venture into the Sendero Aonikenk, a renowned biological and archaeological corridor. We will take an easy hike to observe abundant birdlife, rock paintings and enjoy Macizo Paine from a distance.
Salto Grande y Mirador Cuernos (Trekking de 2 Hrs.): We will visit the impressive Salto Grande a 12-meter waterfall. From there, we will start a trekking low-intensity trek through the steppe to the shores of Lake Nordenskjöld, where the Mirador Cuernos will offer us a superb view of the Cuernos del Paine and the French Valley.
Return and Ascent to Condor Viewpoint (2-hour round-trip Trek): We will return by vehicle to the Pehoé Camp base. After a short rest, we will ascend (moderate slope) to the Mirador Cóndor (350 m.s.n.m.)This summit offers the most famous panoramic view of the park with Lake Pehoé and the Cuernos del Paine in the foreground.
We’ll return to camp for a special New Year’s Eve Dinner featuring three menu options. To close the evening, we’ll share a festive gathering with the W Circuit team, celebrating the arrival of the New Year and recharging our energy for the final day of our adventure.
The day begins with a well-deserved Special New Year’s Brunch, prepared with local ingredients to recharge your energy.
Then, the day culminates with the main course: the majestic Grey Glacier NavigationYou will get close to the front of this ancient ice giant, where you can admire up close the floating blue icebergsThis experience offers the most beautiful views of the park before returning to Puerto Natales at 9:30 PM.
