About your trip

Retreat to the Azores!

Waterfalls, ocean, hot springs, lakes and forests...seasonal local cuisine, whale watching, star gazing and all things yoga.

With Mandy you can expect a diverse program designed to help you delve deeper into your understanding and practise of yoga beyond asana.

Embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery with daily practice sessions, offering a diverse range of meditation, asana flows, restorative yin practices, philosophical teachings, yoga nidra and chanting sessions.

Mandy has lived in the Azores with her family since 2011. This will be her ninth retreat here - and the first one in the Azores since 2020.

Returning to Quinta Minuvida a traditional Azorean orchard lodge run by her friend Rimi and  husband João. They are a sustainably minded lodge providing thoughtful accommodations. They are extremely experienced in hosting groups, know and love the island really well and João cooks wonderful food making the most of the local produce.

This is the real Azores!

Don't miss the unique opportunity to enjoy this bespoke week of yoga in soulful company.

From Europe, Ryanair offers low-cost fares from London and Lisbon. Many other charter companies operate from Germany and other destinations, as does Azores Airlines

Transport Service

If you are interested in an airport transfer, please indicate when booking. We will do our best to arrange shared transfers. The cost is 30€ each way (60€ total) as a maximum.

Alternatively you can take a taxi or hire a car and drive to Quinta Minuvida where they have a private carpark. We will provide directions.

This is a 6 night, 7 day  retreat.

What to bring

The yoga studio is beautifully equipped. Your own shawl / blanket can be nice for meditation.

The Azores weather in October is a mixture - much like the rest of the year.  Expect mild temperatures, warm ocean, rain, sun and wind - a mixture! Bring layers, a raincoat, hiking footwear and don't forget your swimsuit and sunscreen too. The sun is much stronger here in the middle of the Atlantic.
