Flights from USA to Accra, Ghana (Kotoka International Airport -ACC) are not included. We strongly recommend you book a direct flight from JFK in New York (Delta) or IAD in DC (United Air)
Welcome dinner and daily breakfast IS included on most days. Lunch and dinner is on your own.
Beverages are not included. Although water is available on most tours.
Although assistance is provided. Fees are not. The cost is about $220 for all three countries.
Day 0 (Nov. 12): Please plan your departure from the USA for a 9.5-hour overnight flight to the Motherland.
Day 1 (Nov. 13): Arrive Kotaka International Airport (ACC) in Accra, Ghana. Once you go through customs we'll be waiting just outside the exit to lead you to our transport coach. (Complimentary snacks and soft drinks will be provided.)
11 am: The adventure begins with a 4-5 hour scenic coastal ride to the Cape Coast region. Our guide will talk about the customs, culture, dos and don't while visiting Ghana. We'll settle to meet our friends for VIP treatment at the luxurious Lemon Beach Resort. After check-in, you can refresh, rest, and relax with the group for a welcome dinner and a complimentary welcome cocktail.
9 am: Join an adventure in the rainforest at the Kakum National Park. You can test your wits on the canopy walk.
9am: Choose one of the optional experiences below:
> A fishing boat tour*

> Horseback riding on the beach*
> Massage in your room*
> A day of rest and relaxation at the pool.
2pm: We'll head to Elmina to the Anointed Redeeming Prep School for an afternoon of fun, live entertainment, and a gifting ceremony. (We encourage everyone to bring school supplies, personal hygiene products, or cash to donate as a group.)

9 am: This is the day that you will transform your life. Making this connection cannot be put in text. You have to experience it to understand...
10 am: After breakfast, we'll check out of the Lemon Beach resort and head back to the capital city of Accra (Greater Accra Region) just in time to freshen up, go to dinner on your own, and enjoy a night on the town.
On this day, we will embark on an inspiring journey to explore all the major monuments in Accra, including visits to Jamestown, Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum & Memorial Park Museum, W.E.B. Dubois Center, and Black Star Independence Square.
Lunch is included!
8:00 am After breakfast, we'll head for a scenic coastal ride to Lome, the capital of Togo. Upon arrival, we will stop for lunch and enjoy a traditional Togolese meal. After lunch, we'll visit the National Museum of Togo to learn about the country's rich history and culture before checking into our hotel for relaxation.
Relaxing Day on Your Own: Experience the vibrant culture of the Grand Marché (Central Market) or the lesser bustle of the Artisanal Village to shop for local handicrafts and souvenirs. You can also stroll the fabulous beaches and enjoy the local beachside restaurants and nightlife, which Togo is known for!
6 am - 12 midnight: Early rise to explore the largest lake village in Africa. Ganvie, Benin, is located on Lake Nokoue, a 4,000-acre body of water close to Cotonou. Our seasoned boat tour guide will explain the treacherous and tyrannical history that stems back to the fifteenth century when the Tofinu people sought refuge on Lake Nokoue's islands to avoid being stolen into a life of enslavement and servitude. Prepare for this long day of travel and adventure!
Enjoy your last day of leisure and shopping on your own.
Enjoy a 1/2 day dining, lounging, or shopping on your own before our departure back to the Kotoka Airport in Accra to board your late-night flight back to the USA.
