Our drive time to Linden is approximately one and a half hour depending on traffic conditions.
After about 45 minutes of driving from Georgetown, we'll turn onto the Linden Highway. Here you'll enjoy a scenic drive as we pass natural white sand minds, black-water creeks, resorts and lush rainforest on our way to the bauxite mining town of Linden.
Nestled along the Demerara River, Linden is a historic town in Guyana known for its rich bauxite mining heritage and vibrant local culture. As the center of the country's bauxite industry, Linden boasts a fascinating industrial history, scenic landscapes and a close-knit community.
Here you'll have the opportunity to visit Linden's most popular tourist spot, the famous Blue Lake.
The blue lakes are actually mined-out bauxite pits. Mining is not currently done at this sight and hasn't been for a while. However, over time the area has become a popular spot to visit because of its beautiful scenery.
You can also enjoy views of the lovely sand and clay hills. This destination is perfect for pictures.
We'll stop at a local spot in Linden for lunch where you'll have the opportunity to select what you would like to eat from their daily menu.
After lunch we will continue our tour, visiting key attractions such as:

The drive time from Linden to Yarrowkabra is approximately 45 minutes.
Yarrowkabra is situated on the Linden Highway and boasts a very diverse ethnic population. Many settlers moved here from busy and congested areas seeking a more peaceful environment. Yarrowkabra offers an ideal settling point with minimal hassle and the convenience of having essential amenities nearby, including schools and shops.
Here you'll disembark the bus and equip yourself with the necessary gears such as helmets for your riding experience.
Our knowledgeable guide will instruct you on properly putting on your safety equipment first. Afterwards, you'll receive a brief introduction on how to operate your ATV safely and effectively. Additionally, you'll be brief on what to expect on the trails you'll be riding on.
Your trilling and everlasting adventure begins as you head into the savannah trails. Depending on the season you're visiting (rainy or dry), the trails will always offer excitement, from multiple sidetracks to flooded roads. You'll embrace it all and have the time of your life.
There are points where you'll stop to take photos and even swim or drive through large water puddles depending on weather conditions.
Don't worry if you're not a pro; this trip caters to everyone's experience level and is well planned.
After your ATV experience, if you need to change or use the washrooms facilities are available there.
