FAQs

If I'm not vegan, can I still come?

Yes, absolutely! We actually have a lot of non vegans on my trips and we love having them! Whether you're here because you're vegan, vegetarian, have a dairy allergy, don't eat certain types of meat for religious reasons, or just think this sounds like a cool trip, you are welcome here!

However, we do want to note that all the food served on the trip is vegan so if vegan food does not sound appealing to you, we might recommend a different trip.

What's the age range of people on the trip?

We do require everyone on the trip to be 18+. And truly EVERYONE is welcome. We would say the average age is around 25-35 however, we've had people of all ages on the trip (40-60+) and this is a welcoming environment for everyone.

What are the accommodations like?

We work with locally owned, upscale boutique hotels. Typically 3-5 stars. Prices are based on double occupancy, but you have the option to upgrade to a single room if you prefer.

Note, we always pair people of the same gender together for the rooms. You will never be roomed with someone of a different gender. To pair, we basically stalk your socials and match people together based on vibes. Which we're quite good at if we do say so ourselves.

If you'd like to know the exact hotels, please shoot us an email at hello@veganaftravel.com. We’re happy to share, it's just due to the size and reach of our platforms and because the dates are public, we don't post the hotels publicly for safety reasons.

Do most people come alone or with a friend/partner?

Whether you are alone or with a friend or partner, you are absolutely welcome! We would say around 80% of people come solo and 20% come with a friend or partner!

How can I bring my friend/partner?

If you're signing up together, just choose "2" at checkout". Then, when checking out, you'll fill out the intake form and just make a note that you're coming together and would like to room together! If you are traveling as a couple, you do not need to upgrade to a single room. We will automatically put you in one!

For flights, should I arrive at a specific time?

Yes, ideally! When you check out, you'll get an email with all the details on ideal flight times.

If you have any additional questions, please shoot us an email at hello@veganaftravel.com.
