About your trip

Egypt is a country of ancient wonders such as the Giza pyramids, Sphinx, Karnak and Valley of Kings. It has the second largest economy in Africa and considered to be a regional power in the Middle East, North Africa and in the Muslim world. During this FAM tour you will learn about the highlights of Egypt as a travel destination for your clients. Throughout the trip, you will experience historical and archaeological sites, a cruise on the Nile, a visit to the Temple of Luxor and many other architectural gems. Feel free to take photos, post them on your social media accounts or share them directly with your clients to spark their interest to travel to Egypt. You will return home with the education and confidence you need to make new bookings to the Middle East!  

Tour Terms and Conditions

Tour Price Exclusions: Drinks with dinners other than tap water (other drinks available on site at additional cost), lunches and other meals not mentioned in the itinerary, personal expenses such as laundry service and telephone calls, travel insurance, any items not included in “Tour Price Inclusions”.

1. PAYMENT: Payment for the tour must be made directly by the passenger or by the travel advisor who is the passenger's agent for the collection and remittance of tour payments. No other person is authorized to request, receive or collect payments. NEVERTHELESS, VERED TOURS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE ONLY FOR GOOD FUNDS PAID TO AND RECEIVED BY VERED TOURS. A deposit of $500 per person is required at the time of booking. Balance of tour price must be received no later than February 6, 2026 to confirm your reservations. Full payment received after February 6, 2026 is subject to a $50 late fee. Prices indicated are for payment by cash or check. A 2.9 – 3.9% fee will be added for payments made by credit card, depending on which card is used.

2. CANCELLATION CHARGES: No cancellation charges will be assessed prior to February 6, 2026,

except for a $75 administrative fee. Cancelations made after February 6, 2026 will be assessed a

$500 penalty in addition to cancellation fees charged by the airlines, hotels or other service providers.

3. INSURANCE: Travel insurance is recommended and may be purchased prior to departure.

4. REFUNDS: All claims for refunds must be made before departure in writing to the tour operator. On or after day of departure, no refunds will be made for services not used.

5. RESPONSIBILITY: VERED TOURS agrees to arrange for the tour outlined in this contract which represents the agreement between the requesting travel agent or tour leader/organizer and VERED TOURS. No changes or deviations are effective unless authorized by an officer of VERED TOURS. No other person is authorized to adjust, modify cancel or change this program or to make any representation or warranty concerning this tour. Except for willful negligence, VERED TOURS assumes no responsibility for any injuries, damages, losses, accidents, delays, schedule changes, irregularity or incidental damages resulting from circumstances beyond the control of VERED TOURS or by any person or reason, including but not limited to default or omission by any private or commercial carrier or third party providing services or facilities connected with this tour or any part thereof. VERED TOURS assumes no responsibility for acts or omission on the part of the Tour Leader. The airlines or steamship lines are not to be held responsible for any act or omission or event during the time the passengers are not on board plane, ship or conveyance. The passenger contracts in use by the airline or steamship lines or other lines and passenger or purchaser of this tour and/or passage, when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and/or steamship line and the purchaser and/or passenger, and VERED TOURS assumes no liability or any responsibility in connection therewith.

6. Price of the tour is based on airfare (including all tax and fuel surcharges) and hotel rates and

currency exchange rates effective December 15, 2025.

DEPART U.S.A.

Depart en route to Cairo. Meals and overnight on board. Depart New York’s JFK International Airport on Egyptair flight TK4, departing at 12:50pm.

ARRIVE IN CAIRO

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport at 8:15am, you will be met by our representative and then transferred to the hotel for check in and overnight.

Day 3 - Sun. April 12

CAIRO

We will begin our tour of Cairo with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, housing the treasures of King Tut and the awesome relics from antiquity. We will then drive to the famous Saladin Citadel and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali. We continue to Old Cairo and see the beautiful Coptic El Mouallaqa Church, the Church of St. Sergius where it is said the Holy Family rested on their flight into Egypt, and the 12th century Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest synagogue in Egypt.

We drive to the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where craftsmen practice skills passed down through the generations, and we are ready to the spirit of friendly bargaining that makes Cairo shopping such a fun adventure. We will then transfer to our deluxe hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 4 - Mon. April 13

CAIRO/LUXOR

After breakfast we transfer to the Cairo Airport for our flight to Luxor (ancient Thebes). On arrival we will board our tour bus and cross to the west bank of the Nile to tour the Valley of the Kings, including the tomb of King Tut (Tut-Ankh-Amun), the temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. We will drive to the cruise ships dock to board our ship, settle into our rooms and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the Temple of Luxor and then return to our ship. The remainder of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight on board.

KARNAK, EDFU

After breakfast we will visit the temples at Karnak. Then we will return to our ship and sail down-river toward Edfu, via the Esna Locks. Overnight at Edfu.

Day 6 - Wed. April 15

EDFU/KOM UMBO

After breakfast we visit the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon god Horus, considered the most important temple after Karnak. Lunch on board as we sail to Kom Umbo and visit the Temple of Kom-Ombo, dedicated to the god of fertility, Sebek, and the solar god of war, Haroeris, or Horus the Great. Dinner and overnight on our cruise ship as we sail south towards Aswan.

ABU SIMBEL/ASWAN/CAIRO

After breakfast enjoy the tour to Abu Simbel to explore the enormous Temples of Ramses II and his queen Nefertari. These monuments were completely relocated with the aid of many nations in order to save them from the rising waters of Lake Nassar. Carved out of the side of a sandstone rock cliff and facing eastward to let the light of the rising sun penetrate the innermost sanctuary, these monuments reflecting an ancient age are a spectacular sight. After lunch we will visit the nearby the Granite Quarries to see the gigantic unfinished Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut, 137 feet long. We visit the Temple of Philae, a complex on a small island dedicated to the goddess Isis. We transfer to the Aswan Airport for our flight to Cairo. Day 8 - Fri. April 17

GIZA/MEMPHIS/SAKKARA/SPHINX

After breakfast we drive to GIZA and see the three Great Pyramids, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, immutably majestic as they have been for over 35 centuries.  We tour the pyramids of Cheops, Cephran and Mykerinos, then visit the Sphinx that broods over the vast desert.  We proceed to MEMPHIS, the 5,000 year old capitol of ancient Egypt, and view the reclining colossal statue of Ramses II, the remains of Ptah Temple, and the incredibly well preserved sphinx carved from a single block of alabaster. Not far away is SAKKARA, the burial ground of ancient Memphis, and we see King Zoser's Step Pyramid, the world’s oldest stone structure.  We then visit the burial place of the sacred bulls in the Tomb of Apis. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.

Day 9 - Sat. April 18

CAIRO, DEPART

After a short rest in the hotel we will transfer to the Cairo International Airport to check-in for your departure flight to the USA. Depart on Turkish Air flight TK687, departing at 1:15am. Arrive in New York at 10:55am.
