500hr YT, 200hr E-RYT | Nervous System Aficionado | Co-Founder of Two Little Birds Retreats | Founder of the Power Restore Method
www.powerrestoreyoga.com, www.twolittlebirdsretreats.com
Nicole is a lifelong yogi, somatic facilitator, and passionate nervous system educator with over 30 years of personal practice and professional experience. A natural extrovert who was always on the move, her life was dramatically redirected by a diagnosis of Lyme disease — a turning point that sparked a deep, years-long journey into true healing and regulation from the inside out.
Throughout her recovery, Nicole became a devoted student and certified teacher of nervous system restoration, studying and integrating a wide range of modalities including restorative and trauma-informed yoga, yin, nidra, breathwork, reiki, brain retraining, and qigong. Her approach is rooted in lived experience, deep study, and the belief that given the proper support and safety, our bodies are designed to heal themselves.
Her personal healing path has taken her through an expansive exploration of external tools as well — from plant medicine, cold therapy, and red light, to acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, kundalini, ozone therapy, and just about every cleanse, diet, and supplement available. Each played a role, but the deeper transformation came through reconnecting with her own body’s innate wisdom.
Nicole is also the co-founder of Two Little Birds Retreats, which she created alongside her amazing partner Beverly Jane Peatross — crafting immersive, thoughtfully designed spaces that foster curiosity, connection, and inner clarity. These gatherings are rooted in a grounded, accessible sense of care — blending movement, nature, and somatic practices in a way that invites people to feel more fully human, not just “healed.”
She is also the founder of the Power Restore Method, a holistic approach to nervous system healing that combines science-backed regulation tools with restorative and trauma-informed yoga, qigong, breathwork, somatic inquiry, and subtle body intelligence.
Her mission is to help people become attuned to their inner landscapes, illuminate patterned responses (mental and physical), and guide them into a deeper relationship with the innate intelligence of their own bodies. Again and again, she returns to the question: What helps us feel safe enough to heal?
Nicole’s work honors that healing doesn’t look the same for everyone — and that there are many paths to balance, whether we call it yin and yang, homeostasis, or harmony. All of them, ultimately, lead us back home to ourselves.
