2-Day Tour Shore Excursion

We understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and respectful of the local partners involved in delivering this experience.

Cancellations made 7 days or more before the scheduled tour date

  • 80% of the total amount will be refunded

  • A 20% non-refundable service fee applies to cover administrative, payment processing, and advance reservations with our local partners

Cancellations made 6 to 3 days before the scheduled tour date

  • 50% of the total amount will be refunded

  • The remaining 50% is retained to cover prepaid services, transportation, guides, and operational commitments

  • At the guest’s request, this retained amount may be issued as a travel credit for a future Florencios experience (no expiration date)

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour or no-shows

  • No refund is available

  • This policy applies due to the full operational costs already incurred

  • Travel credits are optional and issued only if requested by the guest

Today’s experience focuses on Afro-Brazilian heritage and Rio’s most iconic coastal landscapes, thoughtfully designed at a relaxed and refined pace for cruise guests.

The day begins with a guided exploration of Rio’s Little Africa, where powerful narratives reveal the roots of Afro-Brazilian history, culture, and resilience. Highlights include Valongo Wharf (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Pedra do Sal, and the Olympic Boulevard, offering rich historical context and meaningful cultural insight.

From there, enjoy a scenic drive along Rio’s world-famous coastline, with curated stops at Copacabana Beach, Ipanema Beach, and Pedra do Arpoador. These stops allow time for photos, ocean views, and appreciation of the city’s natural beauty.

Midday, there is time for lunch or a drink in Copacabana or Ipanema, at your own pace (meal or beverages not included).

The morning begins with a visit to Christ the Redeemer, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. With pre-arranged timing, guests enjoy smoother access to the monument and panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro from Corcovado Mountain.

Following the visit, the tour continues through Santa Teresa, one of Rio’s most charming and historic neighborhoods. Known for its colonial architecture, artistic atmosphere, and scenic viewpoints, Santa Teresa offers a refined glimpse into the city’s cultural soul.

The experience concludes at the vibrant Selarón Staircase, an open-air masterpiece composed of colorful tiles from around the world. Guests have time to explore, take photos, and appreciate the artistic vision behind this world-famous landmark.
