Riding an adventure motorcycle off-road in Moab, Utah, is an iconic experience, renowned globally for its unparalleled red rock landscapes and challenging terrain. Here, riders navigate a labyrinth of slickrock trails, deep sand washes, and technical climbs, all set against a backdrop of towering mesas, natural arches, and the majestic Colorado River. The diverse geological features provide an exhilarating playground, from the grippy traction of petrified dunes to the loose rocks of challenging descents, demanding both skill and a sense of adventure. Every turn reveals another breathtaking vista, making Moab an essential pilgrimage for any serious off-road enthusiast seeking a true test of rider and machine.
For a distinctly different, yet equally captivating off-road adventure, Bluff, Utah, offers a profound journey into the heart of the American Southwest's ancient history and untamed beauty. Situated in Utah's Canyon Country, far from the bustling trails of Moab, Bluff provides access to remote desert tracks, historical pioneer routes, and stunning vistas overlooking vast canyons and the meandering San Juan River. Riders can explore lesser-known trails that wind past ancient Puebloan ruins, discover hidden petroglyphs, and traverse diverse terrain ranging from sandy desert floors to rocky mesa tops. This region offers a more serene and introspective riding experience, emphasizing exploration, discovery, and a deep connection with the wild, undeveloped landscapes of the Bears Ears National Monument area.
What exactly do we mean by the Options Tour? We mean total flexibility! This structure is designed to let you customize your adventure every day:
Flexible Lodging: Don't want to tent camp? No problem. This tour offers the option to upgrade to nearby hotels, Airbnbs, or cabins.
Optional Routes: Want to take a more relaxed, scenic pace or tackle the hardest, most technical trails? Each morning, you can choose from a variety of expertly scouted routes to fit your skill level and mood.
This is a hub-and-spoke motorcycle tour. It is a travel format where riders stay at a single, comfortable base location—the "hub"—for the entire duration of the trip. Instead of packing up and moving to a new hotel every night (like a traditional linear tour), riders take a different daily "spoke" route out from the hub, exploring the best roads and scenic spots in the surrounding region before returning to the same base camp each evening. This structure eliminates the daily stress of packing and unpacking, allowing you to settle in, relax, and enjoy maximum saddle time on a variety of amazing roads, making it ideal for those who prefer convenience and a relaxed pace. Since we visit two of the most amazing riding areas in Utah, we will have one transition day and two separate base camps, one in Moab and one in Bluff.
Prefer a comfortable bed over a tent? No problem! If camp lodging isn't your style, just let us know. We'll provide recommendations and assistance in booking alternative accommodations that fit your preference and budget, whether that's a simple hotel, a luxury stay, or a cozy Airbnb. With a wide variety of options available in these amazing towns, your choices aren't limited. Regardless of where you sleep, each morning starts at the main campground where the whole group meets for a communal breakfast and a detailed briefing of the day’s optional riding routes.
Before heading out, we'll all prepare a trail lunch at camp, making it easy to eat while enjoying the route. Once you decide what’s best for your day, you’ll head out with one of our expert guides and part of the group to enjoy a spectacular ride. After the ride concludes, you’re free to head back to your chosen lodging to relax and shower, or you can hang out at camp. Our evenings always end together at the hub with a group-included dinner and fireside chats under the stars.
All tent camping reservations are included in your registration.
All breakfast, lunch and dinner meals prepared in camp are included with registration.
Our team has been together operating expedition tours for over 10 years. We are here to support every rider and will do our best to make decisions to keep the group safe and have a blast doing it!
