From the political and administrative point of view, this district has been divided into 2 constituencies of the union and four constituencies of the state. The eastern border of this district includes Dhading District and Tiwat (China), the western border includes Tanahun, Lamjung, Manang District and Tiwat (China), the northern border includes Tiwat (China) and the southern border includes Chitwan, Tanahun and Dhading District. Diss. According to the census of 2068, the total population of Gorkha district is 271061 with 150020 females and 121041 males.
