Earn Your Leisure & Sanbra City Development have teamed up to offer an exclusive chance to experience Ghana in a real and meaningful way.

We are heading to Ghana to do more than just visit. It's about connecting with the culture, meeting the people, and seeing what life here is really like. Explore different neighbourhoods, enjoy authentic Ghanaian food, listen to local music, visit historical sites, and get a true feel for the everyday rhythm of the awesome city - Accra. If you've seen Ghana through photos, stories or videos, it's time to come here in person and experience it for yourself!

Explore Accra city by day with beautiful cultural experiences and indulge in the vibrant nightlife with hosted dinner parties, visit the Elmina Slave Castle in Cape Coast and learn the dark but important history of the transatlantic slave trade, challenge yourself on a 130-feet high, 7-bridge canopy walk in a stunning rainforest, and power through an exhilarating off-road mountain quad biking experience before cooling off in the refreshing waters of a hidden waterfall.

A huge highlight of this trip is a guided real estate visit to Sanbra City, a new residential development designed with the diaspora in mind! Whether you are thinking about relocating now or sometime in the future, or simply want to learn more about investment opportunities, you will have the chance to see this exciting new development up close and ask questions directly to the team behind it.

You will also have access to an exclusive networking opportunity where we learn more about living or investing in Ghana, with key local stakeholders and industry professionals spanning education, health, real estate, investment, banking, business, governmental institutions, and much more!

This trip is perfect for you, if you're curious about living in Ghana, investing in property and businesses, or just reconnecting with your roots and taking away a wealth of information and relationships. You can expect to meet others on a similar journey, share stories, and get honest perspectives on community, culture, opportunities and more.

Accra city culture & history, traditional food tasting & nightlife

We will kick off the day with a late-morning start and head out to explore Accra with a knowledgeable local guide who knows the city inside and out. The tour includes a drive through some of Accra’s most iconic spots; from the historic fishing community of Jamestown to the powerful Kwame Nkrumah Memorial and the symbolic Black Star Square. You will get a real feel for the city’s rich history, culture, and lively energy. Later, we dive into creativity at a crafts market, where you’ll engage with local artisans, try your hand at traditional drumming in an interactive session, and pick up handmade souvenirs. Midway through, we’ll stop for lunch at Buka Restaurant, where you’ll enjoy a delicious spread of traditional Ghanaian dishes; a perfect way to taste the culture.

We will wrap the day with a group dinner and a night out; good food, good drinks, and a bit of dancing if the vibe is right - and it usually is! It’s the perfect way to settle into Ghanaian nightlife and bond with the fellow travellers.

Sanbra city guided site visit & consultation session

We begin the day with a visit to Sanbra City; a new urban development in Accra. This is your chance to see up close how a modern, planned community is taking shape in real time. You will be guided through the site, including the first phase of development, where you will explore the layout of the neighborhood, and hear directly from the team behind the project. Expect engaging discussions and an interactive Q&A session with local project leaders and stakeholders who are driving meaningful change. After the site visit, we will stop for lunch at a nearby local restaurant; well-loved for its authentic home-style cooking.

After lunch, we’ll gather for a Sanbra City consultation session an open forum for anyone interested in buying, investing, or getting more involved in the development. This is a chance to ask questions, hear more about the project’s plans, and explore what opportunities are available. The Sanbra team will share deeper insights into the community design, timelines, and investment options, while also welcoming your feedback and ideas. Whether you're considering a home, a business, or a partnership, this session is designed to give you the clarity you need.

Today is open and free. You can take it slow, explore the city on your own, catch up on rest, or revisit places that caught your eye earlier in the trip.

Optional | Ghanaian Cultural Immersion:

Experience a full day of cultural immersion led by local experts and a Ghanaian family, featuring hands-on batik making, learning about traditional patterns and Adinkra symbols, exploring local languages, drumming and dancing, and Ghanaian cooking techniques. Aburi day | Quad biking & waterfalls visit

We set off in the morning for Aburi, a cooler part of the Eastern Region known for its scenery and calmness. On the way, we will make a quick stop to try fresh palm wine; locally tapped and best enjoyed on the roadside, just the way it’s done here. Once in Aburi, we’ll settle in for a buffet lunch at a quiet resort, surrounded by greenery; a chance to recharge before the afternoon kicks in. Next, we head to the quad biking base. After a quick safety briefing, you’ll hop on and ride through dirt trails, farmlands, and small villages; it’s a fun, off-road way to see the area from a different angle. After that, we continue on to the waterfall; a scenic spot where you can take a dip or just enjoy the surroundings.

Day 6

Day 6 image

Cape Coast day | Kakum National Park, Beach resort & Slave castle

We leave Accra early and head straight to Kakum National Park for a guided walk through the rainforest and an unforgettable walk across the canopy walkway, suspended high above the forest floor. The views are stunning, and there’s a quiet thrill in being surrounded by so much natural beauty. After that, we make our way to a beachside resort for lunch; good food, ocean breeze, and a lively cultural performance that brings some local energy to the day. In the afternoon, we visit Elmina Castle for a private tour. It’s a heavy but important experience, walking through the dungeons and standing at the Door of No Return.

Day 7

Relocation workshop & networking session

On this day, we are hosting a practical session for anyone who’s ever thought about relocating; whether it’s something you're planning soon, considering for the future, or just curious about. We know moving to a new country can feel overwhelming; there’s a lot to think about, and even more that people don’t always talk about openly. This session is here to help break things down in a real and honest way. We will cover the essentials of everyday life in Ghana. Things like:

⦿ Education: What are the school options like? What should families with kids expect?

⦿ Healthcare: How does the healthcare system work here? What are your options for hospitals, clinics, and insurance?

⦿ Banking & Money: How do you open a local bank account? What’s the process for sending and receiving money?

⦿ Housing: What’s the rental market like? What areas are popular? Should you rent or buy?

⦿ Visas & Residency: What paperwork do you need? What’s the process for staying long-term?

⦿ Daily Life: What's it actually like living here; transport, internet, utilities, safety, culture, etc.

⦿ And More: and other selected stakeholder engagement opportunities..!!

You will hear directly from locals and people who have already made the move, sharing their real experiences and practical tips. In addition, key persons from governmental institutions and professionals with backgrounds in education, healthcare, real estate, and banking will be present to share valuable insights you won’t hear anywhere else. You’ll have direct access to these experts and the opportunity to ask all your questions and build relationships with them. It will be a supportive space to gain clarity and perspective on what’s possible!

After the session, enjoy light bites, drinks, and a casual mixer where you can connect, chat, and build community with others in the room!
