About your trip

Ten days of vibrant cities, mountain landscapes, and desert nights experienced together, the EveryQueer way.

On this LGBTQ+ group trip through Morocco, we’re leaning into everything that makes travel here unforgettable the energy of Marrakech, the calm of the Atlas Mountains, and the vast, cinematic beauty of the desert.

Over the course of the trip, we’ll explore historic palaces and spice markets, create our own signature perfumes, visit waterfalls in the mountains, share tea in a Berber home, and spend nights under the stars in the desert. It’s a mix of culture, hands-on experiences, and moments that feel completely different from one day to the next.

We move with intention, with guided experiences where it matters and time built in to relax, reset, and actually enjoy where we are. Expect shared meals, new experiences, and the kind of easy group dynamic that makes the trip feel natural from the start.

Like all EveryQueer trips, this experience is created specifically for LGBTQ+ travelers — with comfort, community, and connection at the center. Come curious, come ready to explore, and come ready for a trip that feels as fun as it is unforgettable.

Day 1 — May 28

Day 1 — May 28 image

Arrival in Marrakech + Welcome Dinner

Arrive in Marrakech and transfer to our riad, tucked within the city’s historic center. After a long travel day, this first afternoon is intentionally relaxed, giving you time to settle in, freshen up, and ease into your surroundings.

In the evening, we come together for a welcome dinner — your first introduction to Moroccan flavors and your fellow travelers. It’s a chance to connect, set the tone for the trip, and begin the experience in a way that feels welcoming and grounded.

Day 2 — May 29

Day 2 — May 29 image

Bahia Palace, Medina & Spice Market Experience

We begin with a guided introduction to Marrakech that helps you understand the city without feeling overwhelmed.

The day includes a visit to Bahia Palace, one of the most beautiful architectural landmarks in the city, followed by a curated walk through the medina. Rather than wandering aimlessly, this experience is designed to give you context, confidence, and a deeper understanding of how the city works.

Along the way, we’ll visit a local spice market, where you’ll learn about Moroccan ingredients, scents, and traditions in a hands-on and engaging way.

After a full morning, we return to the riad for time to reset before heading out for a relaxed group evening.

Day 3 — May 30

Day 3 — May 30 image

Perfume Workshop + Riad Recharge

Today offers a more creative and personal experience.

We begin with a perfume-making workshop, where you’ll work with local experts to create your own custom scent using Moroccan oils and ingredients. It’s interactive, memorable, and something you’ll take home with you.

In the afternoon, we return to the riad for a true recharge window. After several immersive days, this time is intentionally built in to relax by the pool, take a break from the pace of the city, or simply enjoy the space before the next phase of the trip.

Day 4 — May 31

Day 4 — May 31 image

Atlas Mountains, Ourika Valley & Tea Ceremony

We leave Marrakech and head toward the Atlas Mountains, where the landscape begins to shift dramatically.

Our first stop is the Ourika Valley, where we take a guided walk to a nearby waterfall. The experience is active but manageable, offering a refreshing contrast to the city and a strong visual payoff.

Later, we visit a local Berber home for a traditional tea ceremony. The Berber people are the Indigenous communities of North Africa, with a long-standing culture rooted in the Atlas Mountains. This creates a meaningful cultural moment that feels both personal and grounding.

By afternoon, we arrive at our mountain property, where the pace slows and the setting offers space to unwind before dinner.

Day 5 — June 1

Atlas Mountains, Scenic Walk & Berber Lunch

Today is about slowing down and experiencing the Atlas Mountains more deeply.

We begin with a guided scenic walk through the surrounding landscape, passing through villages and open terrain with expansive views. The pace is relaxed and designed to be accessible, allowing everyone to enjoy the experience comfortably.

Midday, we gather for a hosted Berber lunch, offering a more intimate connection to the region through food and hospitality.

The afternoon is intentionally calm, giving you time to enjoy the property, rest, and reset before continuing the journey.

Day 6 — June 2

Ait Ben Haddou & Journey to the Desert

We begin our journey toward the desert, traveling through some of Morocco’s most striking landscapes.

Along the way, we stop at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its dramatic, clay-built architecture and cinematic history. Exploring this historic village adds depth to the journey and breaks up the drive in a meaningful way.

After lunch and additional scenic stops, we continue toward the desert, arriving in the late afternoon as the light begins to soften.

You’ll settle into our desert camp accommodations, where private tented rooms offer a comfortable and thoughtfully designed stay in the middle of the dunes.

The evening is spent taking in the vast surroundings, enjoying dinner under the stars, and experiencing the quiet, expansive beauty of the desert.

Day 7 — June 3

Desert Sunrise, Camel Ride & Camp Experience

We begin the day with a desert sunrise, one of the most memorable and surreal moments of the trip.

Later, we head out for a camel ride through the dunes, offering a chance to experience the scale and beauty of the desert in a way that feels both iconic and fun.

The rest of the day moves at a slower pace, allowing time to relax, connect, and fully take in the landscape before another shared evening at camp.

Return to Marrakech + Evening Experience

We begin our return journey to Marrakech, once again breaking up the drive with scenic stops and a comfortable lunch along the way.

Arriving back in the city in the late afternoon, you’ll have time to settle back into the riad before heading out for an evening experience that brings you back into the energy of Marrakech in a way that feels social, structured, and easy to enjoy.

Day 9 — June 5

Day 9 — June 5 image

Final Marrakech Experiences + Farewell Dinner

Our final full day is designed to feel full but not overwhelming.

We begin with a curated experience in Marrakech, exploring another side of the city through artisan spaces, design, or cultural encounters that complement what you’ve already seen.

In the afternoon, guests have the option to participate in a private, spa-style hammam experience, carefully selected to ensure comfort, privacy, and inclusivity.

In the evening, we come together for a farewell dinner, celebrating the journey, the connections made, and everything experienced along the way.
