Join me on and a group of women to idyllic Greece on a retreat designed to refresh your mind, body, spirit, and renew your sense of adventure! This retreat combines the best of ancient history with the serene beauty of the Mediterranean Sea.
We start in Athens, the vibrant capital city known for its rich history and stunning architecture. Together we will explore iconic landmarks such as the Acropolis and Parthenon, and immerse ourselves in the lively culture of the city's markets and cafes. We will eat lots of great food, enjoy delicious wine, and late night strolls to capture the energy of the city. After soaking in the city's energy, we will be ready for a tranquil island destination.
Our next stop is the island of Paros in the Cyclades for the duration of our retreat, where we'll enjoy pristine beaches and breathtaking views. Participate in optional yoga and meditation sessions overlooking the azure sea, take a guided hike through ancient landscapes, visit a small olive oil producer, and savor fresh, local cuisine. The Greek isles offer the perfect setting for relaxation and self-discovery.
Heidi Burnette, owner of Forktown Food Tours, will be accompanying the group along with a wellness expert and Greek host who will lead yoga and meditation for those who wish to join in mindful morning practices.

We start our journey together in the ancient city of Athens!
Guests arrive by 2:00pm for an included group transfer to our hotel located in the city center.
Xenodocheio Milso is our luxurious home base for the next 2 nights. This hotel is a "gastronomy 5* hotel" in the heart of Athens. A place where “philoxenia”, the sacred art of making a stranger feel like home, derives from taste, iconic simplicity and world class hospitality.
This evening, we will have our first taste of authentic Greek at a local restaurant.

Enjoy an incredible breakfast to power up for our guided Walking Tour of the city, including the Acropolis and Parthenon. The views and history of this incredible monument complex is unparalleled.
Afterwards, time to indulge in a Food Tour! I may be a *bit* biased, but I think this is the perfect way to get to know a city and culture.
Free time in the afternoon & evening to continue exploring - museums, sites, shops, and being in the life of Athens.

We set off on an adventure today! We take the ferry from the mainland to the island of Paros for some true rest and relaxation.
The ferry is about 3 hours journey. Once we arrive on the island, we transfer to Margarita Studios, a family-run boutique hotel by the sea that is the epitome of a Greek island stay - filled with love, incredible local food, and simple beachside living
We will have a little welcome lunch, with time to unwind and relax by the pool. Or maybe a stroll down to the beach.
This evening, we relax with dinner here at the hotel.

Today we are off to the traditional village of Lefkes for a cultural hike on an ancient Byzantine trail. Lefkes has classic Cycladic architecture with narrow alleys, colorful doorways, crawling bougainvillea, and views down to the Aegean from the town’s elevated vantage point. We will explore a little before setting out on the 3 mile hike (mostly downhill).
This hike is along a road that is 1000 years old, with portions of it still paved with marble slabs! The road connects Lefkes with the small village of Prodromas.
We will be rewarded for our efforts with an olive oil tasting & lunch in the village before heading back to our hotel.
The later afternoon is free for relaxing, reading, swimming!
We will enjoy another delicious group dinner together this evening.

Wake up, enjoy a beach walk or even swim, and we may even schedule a morning yoga session on the beach! Moving the body is always a good way to start the day.
You’re in for a treat with a private authentic hands-on Greek cooking class - truly farm to table. We will gather ingredients from the garden with Stella, the proprietress and chef at our hotel, and make a healthy, delicious meal together. Stella's passion for food is a joy to share.
There is a bit of unscheduled time today - but those who wish a more active day, we could perhaps take a long walk or something further afield.
Free time in the evening - you can walk to some of the simple tavernas nearby the hotel or just enjoy a quiet night to yourself. This is made to be a gentle day.
