This is a DREAM tour for me, an off-beaten-path region in the sun I have always wanted to visit. We will take in the rich culinary heritage, exceptional wines, the stunning landscapes, aquamarine waters, and the unique history of Puglia on this 8 day trip.
We start our journey in Bari, and then take a deep dive into this unexpected land. From the shining sea to the rocky inland, we will explore the captivating city of Matera, known for its stunning stone architecture and ancient cave dwellings, the historic beehive shaped trulli houses of Alberobello, enjoy freshly caught seafood, handmade orecchiette pasta, amazing wine, visit Lecce the Baroque "Florence of the South", and so much more.
I so appreciate visiting lesser-known regions of Italy - less crowds, more space to enjoy, and the delight of the unknown. Prepare to be charmed in this under the radar destination.
