Diver insurance is required.
Trip insurance is strongly recommended to protect your travel plan in case due to unplanned events.
Although it is not customary to tip in Fiji, they do have a Christmas box for cash donations. Donations are distributed amongst staff and their families.
Nitrox is recommended so you can stay energized during the trip.
If you don’t have your own personal dive gear, you can rent what you need from the Resort Dive Shop.
We will be departing from LAX on Thursday night, February 13, 2025 on Fiji Airways. It is strongly recommended that your arrival to LAX occur before 5:00pm in case of delayed or cancelled flights.
We’ll arrive at Nadi International and travel to Bega Lagoon Resort by bus and boat. The bus ride lasts for about 2 hours and it is a quick 30 minute boat ride to the resort.
On day three, you can shore dive, explore the island, get a foot massage, go to church or just relax.
Monday, day 4 is the first official boat dive day, where you will dive several of the incredible reefs of Beqa, Fiji.
On Tuesday, we’ll get to dive with the world famous Tiger sharks or dive more of the fabulous Beqa reefs. For the afternoon, relax or enjoys one of the many activities the resort has to offer.
Wednesday is much like Tuesday, but another group will get to dive with the Tigers. For afternoon fun, sign up for the Secret Island excursion, take a hike to the water falls or go visit the islanders in their villages.
Thursday is ditto day! If you like to fish, go fishing. Enjoy the spa or take a kayak tour of the mangroves. You can also enjoy the mocktails!
Now that you have experienced an incredible week of diving, fun and relaxation, we’ll have one final meal and have entertainment from the villagers of Beqa.
We’ll get an early start back to Nadi. At the halfway point on our way to the airport, well stop and do some shopping and then go to either a hotel day room or directly to the airport.
