This tour starts and ends in Pittsburgh, PA, and runs June 6-12.
Arrive on Sunday afternoon prepared to enjoy 150 miles of traffic-free trail riding! Day 1, self-guided adventure in Pittsburgh, PA, at the western terminus of the Great Allegheny Passage Trail!
Day 2, Monday, cross about a thousand bridges on the way to Belle Vernon, PA. Day 3, on to Confluence for 2 nights. Layover day here allows the chance to return to Ohiopyle and explore! Next day we're off to Frostburg. Thursday we tumble down into Cumberland for our last night out. A motor-coach arrives Friday morning to assist in our return to Pittsburgh.
Your registration fee gets six days of fun, 6 nights of lodging with breakfast, 2 tour dinners, and our wonderful sag-wagon lunch daily, if desired. Maps, staffing, and support will help make this a great trip for you!

Enjoy our basic lunch, or opt for a local restaurant or pub each day.

Arrive in Pittsburgh and save some time for a self-guided tour of the downtown. Check in about 4 p.m., and join the staff for a special guest reception/orientation/safety meeting at 5, followed by dinner!

No tour is complete without good eats! Over this week we provide 2 tour dinners, most breakfasts, and always our famous sag lunch!
Our Layover Day allows you some extra rest, plus a chance to explore again in Confluence and back at Ohiopyle, two of the most interesting towns along the route.
Today we end the gradual uphill run at an overlook where you can see 5 states if you squint real hard and hold your hands over your ears! Then there's a lovely brief downhill run into historic Frostburg and an overnight stay at Hotel Gunther (Slip the Tour Chief a $5 Spot and you might get the Roy Clark Room!).
How do you feel about a 15-mile downhill run? You've earned it as we head into Cumberland, where the GAP meets the C&O Canal Trail at mile 0. We'll continue on to the C&O to the famous Paw Paw Tunnel before a sag back to Cumberland for our final Tour Dinner!
Today we shuttle back to Pittsburgh and the end of the tour, arriving about noon for your travels home. Thanks for a great week!
