About the Retreat

For nearly a decade, I’ve been bringing small groups of like-minded souls to the heart of South Africa for a once-in-a-lifetime experience — and this year could be your turn.

This isn’t just a retreat. It’s a week where the wild meets the deeply peaceful. Each day begins with the sun rising over the African bush, the distant call of lions and birdsong carrying on the morning breeze. You’ll start with energising Vinyasa flows, grounding breathwork, and moments of quiet reflection. Afternoons might find you in a 4x4, spotting elephants, giraffes, or rhinos on safari, or relaxing by the pool with a fresh juice in hand.

Evenings are for slow, soulful Yin practices, sunsets that set the sky on fire, and shared dinners under a blanket of stars.

Meet your host

Stacey Howe

With over 15 transformative retreats led across Greece, South Africa, and the UK, Stacey is deeply passionate about creating space for women to reconnect with themselves through the power of travel, mindful movement, and soul-nourishing experiences. Her retreats blend adventure with stillness, designed to inspire deep connection, self-discovery, and lasting transformation.


Trained in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Mandala Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Meditation, and Sound Bath Facilitation, Stacey weaves each of these practices into her retreats with a focus on intuitive movement, embodied awareness, and energetic balance.


Having owned and run several successful yoga studios, she has witnessed the profound transformation that happens when women gather with intention. Whether practicing under the sun-drenched skies of Greece, meditating to the sounds of the South African bush, or journaling beside the waves in Nicaragua, Stacey’s retreats offer more than just yoga—they offer a space to remember who you truly are.

South Africa is an incredible and diverse country that has a special place in our hearts. It is a place that makes your soul happy and humbles you as a human in ways that cannot be explained with words.

Nature teaches us all we need to know about life, harmony, balance and strength, and from that the idea of nature and yoga retreat slowly started to develop. The importance of the conservation of wild animals and the natural beauty of the reserve allows us to have a deeper connection to nature and through it to ourselves.


Sun rise meditation - As you meditate and practice yoga with the sun rising and capture those special moments of game viewing on our daily safaris you become humbled by the beauty of the natural world.


Switch off and Connect - The aim of the retreat is to switch off from the rat race and the constant noise of the city, immerse yourself fully in the wilderness and to learn to come back to those moments through yoga and meditation.

Recommended Flight Option

To ensure you have enough time to settle in, enjoy lunch at the safari lodge, and make it to your first game drive on the retreat's start day, we need you to arrive at Johannesburg O.R. Tambo (JNB) airport no later than 7:30 AM.

  • Important Note: Because flights from London are overnight, you will need to book your flight for the day before the retreat is scheduled to begin.

The Arrival & Wild Welcome

Touch down and breathe in the vastness of the South African bush.

After a nourishing welcome lunch, we head straight into the wild for our first late-afternoon game drive, closing the day with a communal dinner under the stars.

Day 2

Day 2 image

Waking with the Wild

We begin with sunrise chanting and a dynamic Yoga Flow to awaken the body. Following our opening circle and a hearty breakfast, find your own rhythm during free time before an afternoon game drive to track the Big 5.

Day 3

Day 3 image

Waterfalls & High Energy

A morning of devotion through chanting and meditation, followed by an adventure. We journey via game drive to a hidden waterfall for a morning of immersion in nature’s elements, returning to the lodge for a peaceful afternoon.

Day 4

Day 4 image

Deep Stillness & Sound

After an exhilarating sunrise game drive, today is dedicated to the "yin." The afternoon is a sanctuary of rest, featuring a deep Restorative Yoga session and a transformational Sound Bath to integrate your journey.

Day 5

Day 5 image

The Walking Safari

Experience the bush on a visceral level. After our morning practice, we head out on a guided walking safari—connecting with the earth beneath our feet. We conclude with a sunset drive as the landscape turns to gold.

Day 6

Day 6 image

Connection & Community

Today we extend our practice beyond the mat. We’ll spend the morning engaging with a local community project, sharing energy and support where it’s needed most, followed by a final celebratory sunset game drive.

Day 7

Day 7 image

The Final Sunrise

One last dawn over the savanna. Enjoy a final sunrise game drive and a farewell breakfast before we depart, carrying the spirit of the wild home with us.
