About your trip

Discover the ancient art of Guasha in our immersive in-person course designed specifically for licensed massage therapists. With deep respect for Traditional Chinese Medicine, this course introduces you to the powerful benefits of Guasha while remaining within the scope of practice for Western practitioners. Starting with the online portion of the course, you will unravel the rich history of Guasha, its theories, and its therapeutic potential, including enhanced circulation, pain relief, and increased range of motion.

Our comprehensive training includes a thorough lecture covering essential topics such as professional scope, indications, contraindications, and effective communication with clients. Gain insights into the practical aspects of Guasha through live demonstrations showcasing supine, side-lying, neck, scalp, and prone techniques, as well as self-application methods.

Engage in hands-on practice sessions, allowing you to refine your skills and receive expert feedback. Conclude with a reflection focused on aftercare, treatment cadence, and cumulative learning through group discussions, quizzes, and evaluations. *Participants should expect to work on one another's body excluding private areas and face during the practice sessions.

Completion awards a certificate and continued access to our online course manual.
