Discover the breathtaking views of the Zagora Desert!
This two day excursion begins in Marrakech and brings you to the Zagora desert. Along the way you will pass through the High Atlas Mountains visit the Ait-Ben-Haddou Kasbah, the Draa Valley, the Zagora Palm Grove, and spend a night in a desert camp.
Transportation in a 4x4 or minibus depending on your group size. Pick up at your Hotel or Riad at around 07:30.
All fuel and tolls associated with the driving.

Camel ride to your camp with an experienced camel driver.

Imagine yourself riding a camel at sunset to your desert camp where a traditional Moroccan dinner awaits you followed by a campfire and music. This 2 day adventure will take your breath away.
Driving Time: 5 hours 55 minutes
Our adventure begins in the city of Marrakech where we will pick you up from your hotel or Riad and head towards the High Atlas Mountains. In order to cross the mountains, we will wind our way up to the Tizi N'Tichka pass at 2260 meters. As we descend from the pass, we will make our way to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou near the city of Ouarzazate.
After a tour of the city, we will cross the Tabounte valley, and continue on to the Berber village of Agdz. Agdz, which means "resting place," is a small village that played an important role in the exchange of goods across the Sahara because of its location along the old caravan route that linked Marrakech to Timbuktu.
After a brief stop in Agdz we make our way through the Draa Valley, to the Zagora Palm Grove. Once we arrive there we will travel by camel to the camp in the desert where we will be greeted with dinner and spend the night in an authentic Berber tent.

After breakfast, we will begin our return trip to Marrakech. We will travel through Ouarzazate and from there we will cross the High Atlas mountains. We will arrive in Marrakech in the evening.
