Itinerary

Day 1 Tuesday 24th March
We assume morning arrivals on overnight flights and transfers (not included) to the Hotel H10 Urquinaona, a chic 4 star hotel, located near the Plaza Catalunya in central Barcelona.

In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to Park Güell, uncovering its influence on Ferran Adrià's creative vision.

In the evening we go to Enigma, headed by Albert Adria, brother of Ferran and former head pastry chef at elBulli. Enigma draws inspiration from elBulli, pushing culinary boundaries with innovative, multi-sensory dishes. Like its predecessor, it combines molecular gastronomy and creative techniques, offering a theatrical dining experience. The restaurant’s intimate atmosphere mirrors elBulli’s avant-garde spirit and gastronomic legacy. D

Day 2 Wednesday 25th March
After breakfast and check out and head north to the 5* Hotel Peralada where we check in for the next 2 nights. The estate comprises golf courses, a wine spa, a theatre and magnificent gardens.

Our morning begins with a visit to Roses to the site of the fabled el Bulli restaurant, delving into the creative legacy and innovative spirit of Ferran Adrià.

For lunch, we head to nearby restaurant Cal Campaner, where the chef, Joan Romero, a former elBulli talent, crafts a meal that reflects his culinary journey using freshly caught fish from the Mediterranean.

We enjoy a late afternoon tasting of Peralada’s multi award winning wines from the DO of Emporda in the lavish new state-of-the-art winery. Their Finca Malaveina was recently voted one of the world’s top 100 wines

Evening is free at the hotel. B/L

Day 3 Thursday 26th March

We visit Esperit Roca to explore its inspiring exhibition and exceptional wine cellar, a true reflection of the Roca brothers’ creativity. Joan Roca, the head chef at Can Roca, spent a formative season at elBulli early in his career, an experience that profoundly shaped his innovative culinary approach. We enjoy a delightful lunch at Fontané, a restaurant rooted in traditional Catalan cuisine. In the evening, indulge in an exquisite Michelin-starred dinner at Castell Peralada, helmed by the legendary Toni Gerez—once elBulli’s celebrated Maitre d’, turned cheese guru—who now brings his expertise and hospitality to this exceptional dining experience B/L/ D

Day 4 Friday 27th March
