There are 2 ways to Book a flights....

Our suggestion is to purchase a Multi Destination Fare;  October 7th, from your airport to Heraklion, Crete with a return flight, Oct 17,  from Mykonos to your airport.

(Please review baggage weight for flights)  

If you decide to extend to the two nights in Athens, it would be best to again do a multi flight from your airport to Heraklion, Crete with a return from Athens.

We are available to help you in deciding which route works best.

Flights are limited on the Greek Islands.  It's important to be pro active with booking soon.  Some of our guests may arrive earlier than others. We thank you all in advance for your patience with waiting for the arrival of our group.

**Please check your passports for expiration dates and renew ASAP if the date is within 6 months of expiration, prior to your travel date!  

 Prior to departure, we will forward our Travel Waivers, for all to sign and return.

Water Shoes (Santorini is a volcanic island.  The beach is gorgeous but hard on your bare feet)

Day 1:  Our group will meet at Heraklion Airport at the designated location established and time, where our driver will escort us to our first resort, located on the Peninsula of Agia Pelagia.  Once we have checked-in,  we encourage everyone to explore the wonderous sights. 

This evening, we will gather together for a meet & greet dinner at the hotel.

Day 2:  The following morning (10am), after breakfast, we will head out on our private bus to the other side of the island which will give everyone the opportunity to unwind & recuperate from any lingering jetlag as you enjoy the scenic ride.  Our tour guide, Michael, will take us back in time as we visit charming Old Town Chania,  take a stroll around the beautiful Limani Port & a visit to Rethymnon's where you will find  unique blends of Venetian and Ottoman influences that will transport you to a bygone era. With its narrow alleys, picturesque streets, and historic buildings, these quaint towns are a  must-visit destinations on the island of Crete.  

Day 3:   This morning you will have some downtime.  Enjoy your delicious breakfast, take a dip in the pool or ocean or relax & rejuvenate at your leisure! 

At noon our driver will be ready to take us over to the town of Agios Nikolaos which centers on Lake Voulismeni, a small, circular lake ringed by steep rocky cliffs to one side and open-air cafés and seafood restaurants to the other. As you enjoy your walk around the shoreline, keep an eye out for tame ducks on the walkway, who are always willing to pose for photos.  Afterwards, we will head over to to the archeological site, Palace of Knossos for a two hour private tour. On the way back to the resort, we will stop at the Heraklion Port for a lovely evening walk around the port.

This evening, please have your baggage packed and ready for an early morning departure to the Fast Ferry as we embark on a journey to Santorini! Please wear comfortable shoes, as we will be wheeling our luggage onto the ferry.  

Day 4 Wednesday:  Wake up to an early morning breakfast prior to continuing our travels to Heraklion's Fast Ferry ride. Please remember to bring all your belongings and opt for comfortable shoes.

Upon our arrival, our driver awaits, treating us to breathtaking views as we travel to our next accommodation nestled just outside of the charming town of Fira.  

Once settled in at our Hotel in Kamari Beach, you may relax by the pool, take a dip in the crystal-clear ocean, stroll the boardwalk, explore the town or visit local shops-.the choice is yours! 

Please keep in mind; Santorini is a volcanic island, the black sand is made of volcanic rocks, so please bring water shoes or sandals to wear when walking to the crystal-clear water.  It's truly magnificent!

Day 5:  This morning (9am) we will head out for a day on a Semi=Private, 5 Hour Catamaran Sail around the Island of Santorini where you will enjoy views of the coastline and splashing around in various coves. 

This evening we will explore the highly sought-after  picturesque town perched on the cliffside, providing breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. Fira is a captivationg destination celebrated for its charming white-washed buildings, narrow streets, and vibrant atmosphere,  creating a lively ambiance.   (On our way back from our afternoon sail ride, we will collectively decide on a convenient time for all to meet for a taxi ride over to Fira)

Day 6: A beautiful day awaits you, to enjoy some down time as you soak in the last day at this fantastic beach!

Late afternoon (3pm, Optional Excursion $125) we will be picked up by a tour guide to take us over to the Northern side of Santorini for a fabulous Highlight tour and visit to a famous Vineyard, sample exquisite Greek wines and experience the finest tastes of local cheeses.  This will be followed by a countryside drive over to the town of Oia, where we will witness what everyone talks about, the famous Santorini sunset!

Make sure to pack your bags for our next destination tomorrow morning, as we head to the Port for our Fast Ferry to Mykonos. 

 Day 7:  After breakfast in Santorini, we'll gather in the hotel lobby with our belongings to board the shuttle bus, and head to the fast ferry that will transport us to the enchanting island of Mykonos, known for its picturesque landscapes, vibrant nightlife, and beautiful beaches.  It is a popular destination for those seeking a lively atmosphere.  The island's charm, combined with its cultural richness and stunning views, makes it a sought-after destination for tourists.

Upon our arrival, we will be chauffeured to our hotel located in the scenic town of Plati Yialos.  

Day 8:  At your leisure, enjoy the pool, beach, relax on the balcony with a good book or take a stroll around the neighborhood in Plati Yialos

Be Our Guest;  this evening  we will join in festivities at an Authentic Greek Night Celebration with Dinner and Ethnic Dancing!  

Day 9:  Take in the gorgeous day!!

Later on, we will hop on an islander bus, conveniently located in front of our hotel. and head to the Town of Mykonos, lso known as Chora, characterized by its iconic, white-washed buildings with blue accents, narrow winding streets, and charming squares, the town exudes a postcard-perfect charm. We will spend the afternoon visiting this lively village and waterfront where you’ll be able to take photos by the Famous Windmills.

Please be sure to order your transport to the airport with the hotel front desk  Be certain of your time of departure and allow ample time for check-in and customs.

FOR THOSE JOINING US TO ATHENS: Please be sure to pack your luggage tonight for tomorrow’s flight out!

Day 10: Today we will take our early flight out to Athens, the Capital of Greece. The Acropolis of Athens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the city's most iconic attraction, with its ancient Parthenon and beautiful views of the city. In the Plaka district, you will find charming streets with traditional Greek tavernas and shops. Modern Athens features a mix of contemporary architecture, trendy cafes, and a diverse culinary scene.  Overall, Athens is a captivating destination where the past meets the present.

Day 11:  Day of Departure. Please be sure to order your transport service with the hotel front desk, to Athens Airport.  Be certain of your time of departure and allow ample time for check-in and customs. If your flight leaves later in the afternoon, you may enjoy a beautiful morning strolling in the Plaka district.

Travel Insurance is highly suggested for international travel. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case of a flight cancellation or any change that may come up in travel plans. In addition to refunding your trip fees, it may also include medical expense coverage (remember that your USA based health insurance may not apply in Europe) and reimbursement for lost, damaged or stolen luggage and personal items.

Cancellation Policy

If you or any member of your party, cancel your arrangements at any time, written notification from the person who made the booking must be received by email at gorotraveltours@gmail.com

If you must cancel, the initial full deposit is non-refundable. We will grant your transfer of our land trip to another participant knowing they will satisfy the balance due by final payment date. This transfer will NOT INCLUDE any Inter-Island Airfare or Any Excursions which are Non-Transferable on our end. 

If you cancel prior to 60 days of the trip, a 25% refund of payment received, will be returned. Any cancellations made within 60 days or less will be forfeited, due to our obligation and non-refundable transactions, with our accommodation, transport and excursions. 

Exceptions to our policy cannot be made. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
