Power of the Autumn Equinox
September is the time of the Autumn Equinox, the transitional period between summer and fall, where there is equal balance between dark and light. This seasonal occurrence offers the opportunity to journey inward, to pause, reflect, and restore balance in your own life.
Space to Balance
We’ll start each day with guided meditation, breathwork, and integrated energy and yoga practices to cultivate balance, grounding, and self-compassion. Our evening practices will fuse Restorative yoga and energy practices to downregulate the nervous system and guided Yoga Nidra for deep rest. In between classes there will be ample time to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this property where you can reflect, rest or play :)

Supporting the Supporter
This Grounded Roots Retreat, Savor the Space, allows time to pause between summer and fall; supporting you in whatever transition you may be going through in your life. This time in-between the seasons is represented by the Earth Element in Chinese Medicine. As we explore the inner workings of the Earth Element, which has the Archetype of ‘Peacemaker’ we can learn to unwind from old patterns and stories that weigh us down or hold us back. As women, we are constantly fixing, caretaking, and supporting others.
Reset Your Energy
On this retreat there will be space for you to release your roles and responsibilities (even just for a weekend) and reconnect to yourself. Immersing yourself in Nature invites space for you to ‘just be’, which fosters perspective, clear thinking and access to your intuition. Together, using yoga, meditation and energy practices we can work with the Earth energy and align with this rhythm to restore flow in our own well-being. Balancing your energetic body impacts physical and emotional health and mental clarity, allowing your true nature and gifts to shine.
Unwind & Expand
Come as you are. Bring a friend if you’d like, share a room or have your own space. This venue offers a variety of options for you to retreat in a way that nourishes your individual desires. Enjoy the restoration and expansion of Yoga and Energy Medicine. Unwind the unspoken tangles in the body, have space to breathe. Explore the grounds, play on the water, indulge in a nap, enjoy good food (that you don’t have to prepare!), and settle into being nourished, connected, and inspired with us. Return home recharged and refreshed!

Beth Lynch
My journey as a healer began in the nursing field. I’ve always been drawn to caring for the whole person, recognizing that we are physical, mental, emotional and spiritual beings with important needs on each level. Holistic approaches are largely not recognized in Western medicine, but I found the model of hospice to have similar values. So for many years, I cared for cancer, palliative care and hospice patients—and it was fulfilling. I was able to gracefully honor each person exactly how they were in the moment and allow them to feel their own sense of dignity.
I still, however, felt there was something more I could offer as a healer.
While I was a caregiver and nurturer for others, I hadn’t always been the best at taking care of myself. I met an Eden Energy Medicine Practitioner at a local event and decided to book a session. I resonated deeply with the way she held the space of healing for me first, so that I could step into the space of healing for myself. I wasn’t judged and nothing felt forced. The practitioner simply focused on my needs and worked with my body’s energy systems.
As I continued to explore energy medicine, my life began to radically shift. I experienced a sense of vitality that I hadn’t known before. For the first time, I learned how to truly care for myself. I knew that I wanted to share energy medicine with others to empower them on their own journey to heal, evolve and optimize their wellness.
I studied Eden Energy Medicine (under Donna Eden and her experienced faculty) for 4 years to become an advanced practitioner. I whole-heartedly believe that it is one of the quickest, easiest and safest ways to reconnect with the body’s needs and effect positive change—physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Most traditions work with just one system. Eden Energy Medicine is special because it utilizes 9 energetic systems, wrapped up into one highly effective healing modality.
What I enjoy most about working with clients is that I can hold the space of complete acceptance of their states of being. The world doesn’t need any more judgement. I want clients to understand that energy is just energy—there is no right or wrong. We identify areas that are flowing well and areas that need support, and realize that it’s all part of their individual soul’s journey. Learn more here.
Annie Siegel
Annie Siegel is a native Clevelander dedicated to the path of helping her clients and students become more mindful in their daily life. She has been immersed in the local yoga community for more than 20 years, a dedicated student of yoga since the late 1990's, and a certified yoga teacher since 2005.
Like many, Annie's yoga practice began as just another way to exercise. Always athletic and active, Annie was constantly on the lookout for the next great workout. What she found in yoga was so much more than a physical challenge. Annie had always been attuned to the mind/body connection and once she delved into her own yoga practice, she immediately knew it was something she wanted to share with others.
Now, more than 20 years later, while she still enjoys a good physical challenge, what has become more important to her practice is the insight and truths that reveal themselves when she comes to her mat. Her practice has become more about letting go of the daily distractions, finding quiet and tuning in with what really matters.
After five years of teaching yoga, Annie found that her private clientele was growing and her students were very receptive to her hands on adjustments. As a way to expand her offerings to private clients, Annie completed additional training in Thai massage through The Lotus Palm School.
Most recently, Annie’s studies came full circle as she was able to study again, online with Cyndi Lee, founder of Om Yoga, the origin of her first teacher training! Studying mindfulness meditation online with Cyndi Lee has been a game changer for Annie, and influences nearly every aspect of her teaching.
