What's included

7 Nights Lodging

@ Barsham Barns — your choice of double or single occupancy. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms, and shared kitchens & living spaces.

Daily Yoga

Serena's style of teaching accommodates beginners & seasoned practitioners alike.

Outing to Holkham Beach

We'll wander through this magical space—where a forest of Norfolk pines gives way to expansive golden sands and tidal waters.

Visit Wells-Next-the-Sea

Among other things, this charming sea-side town boasts a local restaurant serving up (what Emma considers) the best fish & chips in England

Houghton Hall Tour

We'll tour the home & gardens of this country estate — built in the 18th century for England's first Prime Minister.

Visits w/Nigel & Claire

Dinner & History Talk with Emma’s friends, Nigel & Claire (owners of The Control Tower B & B)

Outing to Norwich

We'll explore the medieval & modern sites of this UNESCO-designated "City of Stories," including a stop at Norwich Cathedral for their Evensong chorals.

Transport To/From London

We'll begin & end the trip at Kings Cross Station in Central London

What's not included

Flight to/from England

London Heathrow (LHR) is the recommended airport.

Airport transfer

Trains are readily available from London Heathrow (LHR) to Kings Cross Station, which is the beginning & end point for the retreat.

Optional Excursions

There is plenty more to experience beyond what we have planned. Local music & festivities are a sure bet, as are outings to special cafes (think afternoon tea), historic homes, and market towns.

Optional Transportation

Transportation to all scheduled outings is included. For trips beyond that, bus service is nearby & cabs are available. Bike rentals can easily be pre-arranged & delivered from a local provider.

3 Lunches + 1 Dinner

Guest will purchase their meals on some of our group excursions.

Food Not on the Menu

Farm shops and pubs are within walking distance of Barsham Barns. Grocery delivery is also available.

Beer, Wine, & Spirits

These items are readily available at restaurants and local stores. Barsham Brewery & Tap Room is also just down the lane.

About your organizer

BB Travel Crafters was created by long-time friends, Serena Crawford and Carrie Streeter, who make their home in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. They bring together their personal and professional studies of yoga and history to create retreats, workshops, and field trips that offer embodied explorations of self and society, both past and present and around the world.
