Our group trip to Senegal and The Gambia will be an unforgettable blend of vibrant cultures, stunning landscapes, and rich history. From the lively streets of Dakar to the serene beaches of Saly, we will dance to the rhythms of mbalax, bargaining in bustling markets, and soak up the sun on golden shores. We explore the haunting yet beautiful Gorée Island, cruise through the lush Sine Saloum Delta, and brave the friendly crocs at Kachikally Pool in The Gambia. Along the way, we will share endless laughter, delicious local cuisine, and the warmth of West African hospitality. This journey is more than just a vacation—it is an adventure filled with stories we will be telling for years to come!

Our Representatives will meet with you on your arrival at Senegal international airport. Make
yourself known to your guide as you leave the customs and arrival hall. We will enjoy welcome
dinner, discuss the trip, and the remainder of the evening will be spent at leisure and relaxation
while acclimating yourself to the motherland.
After breakfast we will embark on a city tour of Dakar, we will visit these places of interest the markets
of Kermel, Sandaga, Tilen; the Presidential palace and Parliament buildings; Medina district; the
Museum of Black Civilization a symbol of Senegalese independence and African liberation. As
the tallest statue in Africa, enjoy one of the best views of Dakar and Cheick Anta Diop University.
Along the way, we’ll sample street foods like Cafe Touba and ‘’Bantt yi’’ (grilled meat). Stop by
the African Renaissance Monument. In the evening, we will take a sunset sea cruise along the
Dakar coast and observe several iconic places, like the Mamelles Lighthouse and Ngor Island.
Enjoy food and drinks and the picturesque view.
Take a 25-minute ferry ride to the island of Gorée, once the largest slave trading
center in West Africa. Now, the island is a site of reconciliation and remembrance of those sold in
the Transatlantic Slave Trade. We will visit the House of Slaves where our ancestors were held
before passing through the “Door of No Return”. We will have lunch and explore the car-free
island—swim in the ocean, attend a sand art demonstration, and shop for souvenirs, lastly, we will
visit Lac Rose (Pink Lake) Take a boat tour of the iconic Lac Rose, known for its natural pink
waters and high salt content. In addition to the lake, enjoy attractions like riding ATVs through the
sand dunes and camel or horseback riding. Return to your lodge to have the rest of the day to
yourselves and prepare for departure.
After a leisurely breakfast, we depart Dakar for Banjul the capital town of Gambia, surrounded on
all sides by Senegal, The Gambia is Home to nature reserves, charming fishing villages and
number of historic slave trade posts. En route we will stop at Fathala Wildlife reserve to have a
encounter with king of the jungle lions and get a chance to walk alongside with them. After
wonderful time we will continue to Gambia, after wonderful border checks, we check into our
hotel upon arrival, the reminder of the day at leisure.
Today is dedicated into visiting Kunta Kinteh island located in the River Gambia which adjoins
the ocean to learn about trans-Atlantic slave trade.
Lastly, we stop at Old Town to learn about old architecture influence by Europeans, we will visit
a traditional market and it mesmerized by their daily activities, lunch will be taking at a local
restaurant. Reminder of the day is at leisure.
The entire day is dedicated to beach and leisure, we will visit Brufut Beach know for it terrific golden
sand and privacy, you climb down the cliffs to access the beach and because of its peaceful nature
it best for sunbathing, water sports, cycling or walk along the beach.
We depart back to Senegal on a long drive, enjoy site seining en route, border crossing
formalities, we check into our hotel upon arrival. Sadly this is final night together in Senegal, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

after an unforgettable 7 day tour of the beautiful Senegal and Gambia.
Sadly your final day with us in Senegal, after a leisurely breakfast and morning of relaxation we
check-out of our hotel and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. If time permits we may have the
opportunity to pick up any last minute souvenirs as we visit one of Dakar’s arts and crafts market
