To all of the girls who, like me want to kick off summer in Europe, this is the trip for you! Welcome to Ericeira, Portugal - the birthplace of The Girls Trip Series, and the fifth time we're gathering in our OG destination.

Contrary to popular belief, this is not a surf trip. Yes, we have surf lessons (and yes, you're gonna suck) - but this is an escape that reminds women how often we don't carve out intentional time to PLAY. It's also important to note that you can pass on the surf if you're just not feeling it.

Join me for 10 magical days in Europe as we get out of our comfort zones on one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. Come connect with like-minded women (and new sisters) in our beautiful beach apartment to laugh, play, connect, relax, and just LIVE.

After falling in love with this coastal town years ago, it became the launch pad and first trip destination of "The Girls Trip Series"  and I'm so excited to share this experience again with a new group of women in 2026. A short drive from Lisbon, Ericeira is a seaside community on the western coast of Portugal. It is considered the surfing capital of Europe for being the only European spot among the World Surfing Reserves due to the exceptional coastline conditions.

Think: beautiful beaches, a quiet town where you can reconnect with yourself (and new women around you) all while getting out of your comfort zone and learning how to surf. I chose this destination because not only is September BEAUTIFUL, but it's my absolute favourite time to be in Europe. The town is small and quiet, which allows travellers to optimize their budget to keep their daily spending low. Ericeira is also an easy and fast transfer from Lisbon which eliminates the hassle of multiple (or long) transfers after flights.

This destination is slow-paced and extremely laid-back. The beaches will offer a surf experience that can accommodate all levels to best support your needs and we're going to eat a f*ck ton of pasteis de nata. 

This is an intimate group size that will offer incredible add-ons such as massages, extra surf lessons, day trips, and photoshoots with me! It will be the perfect trip to end your summer, transition into a new season, and get clear and aligned with new goals and energy.

Hi, I'm Ally! I've spent the better part of the last 16 years in airports escaping to destinations that fuelled my curiosity to explore incredible parts of the world.
 

I spent the first 8 years of my career doing sales and operations in the travel industry - specifically planning, selling, and running youth group trips across the Caribbean,  Central America, Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia. When I wasn't planning and running other people's trips, I was escaping for some solo travel of my own.
 

After my first big trip at 18, where I camped across 6 countries in Southern Africa, I knew that I had to take on as many experiences around the world as I possibly could for the rest of my life. I set of goal of travelling to 30 countries before I turned 30 and was lucky to pass that by 24!
 

Most of you know me as a photographer. I left the professional travel world to pursue my love for being creative. I've worked on TV shows, started a podcast for women with over 50k downloads, shot photos for huge airlines and hotels around the world, and tried to get away as much as I could in between.
 

These group trips merge all of my worlds to offer you some of the same life-changing experiences that I've had across the globe. My goal is to offer you a space to reconnect with yourself in a slow but stunning environment where you can take the time and space to clear, reset, create new intentions, start to integrate, and PLAY.
 

We don't play enough as adults. We take ourselves way too seriously. Surf camp will change that. We'll spend a few hours in the water each day with professional guides and coaches laughing at ourselves while looking real cute in our ugly wetsuits.
 

Your session with Courtney will be at the beginning of the trip and will be incredibly grounding and transformative. This one-on-one intuitive coaching session will be tailored to customizing your trip experience to best suit your emotional and spiritual needs.
 

The rest of the trip is up to you. Let's savour the slow travel, meet new friends, eat good food, cry if we have to, and have a transformative trip that we'll remember for the rest of our lives.

Please note that this trip requires a minimum of 5 women to run. The trip will be confirmed on or before April 15th, 2026. All trip payments are 100% non-refundable unless the trip is cancelled in which case all payments will be returned.

Payments can be transferred to another traveller or another trip but filling the spot is the responsibility of the traveller and not The Girls Trip Series.

Please note that while all of your lessons and gear are included, feel free to sit out. This trip is not intended to be "surf camp" - the activity is designed for you to carve out intentional time to play in a beautiful setting. During your time in the water, you'll soon realize that this trip is not at all about learning how to surf. You'll laugh, you'll get your mind off of things, you jump out of your comfort zone and you'll have fun doing it.

Some girls surf everyday, some not at all, some twice a day. It's your trip - do what you want ;). 

PS. if you are coming on this trip with existing experience, we can cater your sessions to your level so you can get the most of it!

Fly in Lisbon (LIS). Our first official trip day is June 5th. Please plan to arrive in Ericeira before 5 PM local time. While there are no official activities planned throughout the day - we will have our kickoff dinner/meeting that evening!

*Please note time zone changes and travel times when booking flights. For example,  if you live in Vancouver, you'll have to fly out on June 4th. Feel free to book extra time before or after our trip dates if you'd like an extended euro holiday!

Our whole concept at The Girls Trip Series is "curated experiences for women who hate tours" - therefore you make your days your own. And honestly - that's the beauty of this trip. You truly get to build your days in a guilt and stress-free way.

Surf lesson times are based on the tide and are provided to the group the day before. Other than that - settle in and enjoy!

You're 35-45 minutes from Lisbon and approx 30 minutes from Sintra. Getting around via uber/bolt is super easy and we usually travel into Lisbon for shopping/sightseeing/girl dinners a couple of times throughout the week and split transport.
