Traverse the Great Sierra Nevada Range’s conifer forests, mountain meadows, and gentle slopes. Ride forested two-track, tackle rugged canyons and mountain dirt roads, ascend peaks to fire lookouts with unparalleled views.
Explore quaint towns nestled in the Lost Sierra’s folds, with historic inns dating back to the 1880s. Beyond the thrill of the twisty trails and scenic vistas, you'll delve into California history, discover relics of mining towns, and observe geological wonders.
There are 4,482 miles of unpaved roads and trails found within the million acres of the Plumas National Forest. That’s the highest ratio of roads to acreage anywhere within the entire USFS.

The Connected Communities Project area is located in northern California and western Nevada spanning:
6 Counties: Plumas, Sierra, Lassen, Butte, Nevada and Washoe
15 Towns: Susanville, Westwood, Chester, Jonesville, Greenville, Taylorsville, Quincy, Graeagle, Portola, Loyalton, Sierraville, Sierra City and Downieville, Truckee and Reno
Stage & Camp:
STAGE AT BUNKHOUSE FLATS ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE CHEVRON STATION, THE GROCERY STORE, A COFFEE SHOP AND THE LAKE IN A TREED AREA.
DRY CAMPING IS $20 CASH PER NIGHT FOR CAMPING, PAY AT THE CHEVRON STATION.

Exit Tours is actually a non-profit motorcycle club that puts on Limited Entry Club Rides for 3 disciplines. Dual Sport, Singletrack and Adventure bikes. Amazing destinations in CO, AZ, NM, NV, UT, Baja to Los Cabos even rides in Cuba in the past!
These club rides are open to any Like-minded enthusiasts. These are not beginner rides. Though they do offer routes around many challenging sections.
