As the only recognized PADI 5-star Instructor Development Center along the Oaxacan coastline, we can assure you of the highest quality training, a dedicated team of instructors and equip you with all the necessary skills and knowledge to enter the PADI Pro world as a role model Divemaster. The certifications and experience that you gain from our program will help shape your career as a PADI professional by becoming one of the best.
During your daily dives with the crew, you will train side by side with a dedicated team of instructors as well as gain exposure to assisting them with real courses and guided tours for actual students and clients throughout your program. Our philosophy is simple; invest in our students, expose them to all facets of the professional world, teach them as much as we can, so that they can become the best ambassador of the underwater world as possible. This is a key part of what makes our program stand out from the rest.
Our Package includes:
- PADI EFR Certification (eLearning, Theory, and practical training).
- PADI Rescue Diver Certification (eLearning, 1 day pool training, 1 day 2 Ocean training dives)
- PADI Divemaster eLearning.
- PADI Divemaster Crew Pack, training slates and mesh bag.
- 5 PADI specialties.
- Introduction to Sidemount diving.
- Shared accommodation within our 3 Bedroom Condo with onsite pool (sharing based on total number of attendees).
- Exposure to guiding and instructing under the tutorage of your instructors with real customers diving with HDC.
- 20% discount on any scuba gear purchased through Huatulco Dive Center.
- 50% lifetime discount on all future dives with HDC upon completion of the Divemaster certification.
- All diving is included during Summer Camp (if there days where you have no tasks, assignments or assessments you are more than welcome to enjoy fun diving in the beautiful Huatulco National Park).
- We will be looking to hire a Divemaster in October, your time with us will provide an excellent platform for those students who are interested in working full time in the near future.
Students must have completed all courses up to including PADI Advanced Open Water Certification.

Your safety and that of your fellow divers is essential. The Rescue Diver course prepares you as a rescue diver with the ability to think and act at the right moment without risking your safety or that of others.
Learn and practice the techniques used both at the surface and underwater. Your instructor will teach you how to anticipate and resolve any problem you face. This course helps you grow as a diver and as a person.
The adventure of becoming a PADI Divemaster is not limited to just classroom work and training dives. We will also give you the opportunity to enjoy diving along our beautiful nine bays of Huatulco and its 30+ dive sites. You will have the opportunity to practice Spanish, we will involve you in exploring the local culture so you can become part of the local community and support environmental activities and initiatives. Our core program runs over a period of approximately 5 weeks. Huatulco National Park is located in Huatulco, Oaxaca and stretches out over 22 miles of coastline and is set within a beautiful natural area with the Sierra Madre Mountains forming a stunning backdrop.
Huatulco is made up of 9 bays with 36 beaches, most have blue-green water, and the sand ranges from golden to white. Huatulco Dive Center is located in the exclusive Sea Soul Beach Club on playa Chahue overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Our boat is designed for diving, with an intentionally limited capacity of 10 guests plus our team, Mako has strong stability, comfortable passenger space and is made from high-quality materials. This supports a comfortable, and safe journey to many of our dive locations.
