About your trip

There's no other way to say it: This is the golf travel opportunity of a lifetime. Play some of the world's best new courses with social media star Patrick Koenig and Asia Golf Trips founder Scott Resch, stay at a few of Asia's finest retreats, and explore one of the greatest culinary and cultural destinations on our luxury golf tour of Vietnam.

Vietnam was voted World’s Best Golf Destination in 2019 and 2021 — and for good reason: The country's mix of championship-caliber courses and 5-star hotels is second-to-none. Tee it up at spectacular links-style layouts designed by legends Greg Norman, Nick Faldo and Robert Trent Jones Jr. and enjoy accommodations frequently featured in the world's leading travel publications.

This unbeatable package also includes all in-country transfers (air & ground), your travel visa, and an ultra-knowledgable guide every step of the way in Resch, a former Golf Digest course rater who has been organizing trips to Vietnam since 2007.

Say 'Cheese!'

This trip is also being documented by a photographer representing The Golfer's Journal. So there's a chance you could see yourself in the pages of a magazine widely considered the best golf publication on the planet.

Weather in July

Anyone considering this trip should know it can be quite warm in Vietnam in July, with the average daytime temperature hovering around 90 degrees in most of the country. Humidity is high then, too. You're also likely to encounter short/sharp afternoon thunderstorms down south (Ho Chi Minh City), which is where the trip starts.

After breakfast, book a rejuvenating spa treatment for the afternoon (if you wish) then get to know one of Asia's most fascinating cities through an easy walking tour of the first district. Get up early and transfer by private limo van to the Bluffs Ho Tram, a spectacular links layout that was named “World's Best New Golf Course” at the 2015 World Golf Awards. The Greg Norman design is set amid towering seaside dunes, a feature that helped make the 2015 Ho Tram Open (won by Sergio Garcia) the Asian Tour Event of the Year.

Hoi An

Head a few clicks down the road to Hoiana Shores, a sensational, Robert Trent Jones Jr. design with six holes that come into direct contact with the beach. Hoi An & Hue

This morning, tee it up at The Great White Shark's very first design in Vietnam: The Norman Course at Danang Golf Resort. Opened in 2010, this award-winning track possesses everything a links-style layout should: blown-out bunkers, firm and fast fairways that bleed gently into wild seaside vegetation, rugged waste areas, and natural swales and hollows.
OVERNIGHT: Azerai La Residence

Day 7

Hue & Lang Co

After a leisurely breakfast at La Residence's gorgeous riverside restaurant, tour Hue's famous Citadel with Ms. Lan, who served as Anthony Bourdain's guide when he visited Vietnam's former capital. Afterward, transfer to Laguna Lang Co, one of GOLF Magazine's "Top 100 Golf Resorts in the World."
OVERNIGHT: Angsana Lang Co

Day 8

Lang Co

Put your game to the test at Laguna Golf Lang Co, a Nick Faldo masterpiece that plays over and around rice paddies and along a sandy shoreline. Afterward, enjoy any of the many amenities that secluded Laguna Lang Co offers. Have dinner at Japanese-themed Rice Bar or at lovely Water Court.
